“I went for the very first time for New Jersey Deathfest and found it to be the ideal venue for hard-core and metal. The sound is actually top notch and the staff is very friendly. The gritty decor and atmosphere is very reminiscent of a lot of the noteworthy DIY venues I used to go to in NYC during the 90's for metal and hardcore shows which made it all the more nostalgic for me. I would definitely return here for another show in the future.“

“Kelly’s Tavern in Bay Ridge has been holding it down since 1932—so yes, Papa Kenny, you’re in one of the oldest and most classic bars in the neighborhood, and it doesn’t get much more Brooklyn than this. “One of the best metal/alternative bars on NYC. They've got events were you and the community get together to mosh, see hot dancers on the bar or at the stage to look at.

If it's this is your type of thing, highly recommend going. I'd say come early so you can actually get a seat.“

“Tonight was my first time at Krugs Tavern & my burger was simply fantastic. Great atmosphere & my waitress was to die for.
