This is a gem in a neighborhood that used to be scary.
Montero sits near Pier 6, slightly removed from the busier parts of the neighborhood, and feels very much like a classic neighborhood watering hole. The space leans heavily into a nautical theme, with a rustic, time-capsule quality that gives it a certain charm.
