Excellent array of teas. Highly knowledgeable and helpful proprietor. If you gave any questions about tea or coffee, he is the person to ask. He introduced us to our favorite tea, Barry's, strong and most flavorful. I have bought specialized teas from him on occasion.
My wife and I have been getting coffee beans here for 20 years. It's an exemplar of a local, independently-owned-and-operated business.
This place is great for tea. I loved their selection and the guy working the store was really friendly. Also, the nightcap blend is truly fantastic if you love a tea before bed. I will definitely be back if I'm in that neighborhood.

The gentle owner, John, is knowledgeable and kind, always attentive to customer needs. Customers appreciate the warm service and small-town feel, which makes Two For the Pot very special. The shop used to be cash-only, but now accepts Venmo. Visitors often find authentic Earl Grey and Moroccan Mint teas, and many enjoy the Irish blend loose tea. It’s a favorite place to walk out happy, often with a bag of chips or other treats, and it remains a hidden gem in Brooklyn Heights.
