My sister and I had lunch here and it was amazing. The place is nice and cozy, the chef is super friendly and we got free samples of the soup of the day! The wraps are delicious and the pastries are to die for. I almost took the whole case of pastries home. Be sure to try the sweet potato bread!!Dietary restrictions: Vegan!!

A vegan Jamaican cafe in Greenpoint?!?!?Cuffie Ridge is a vegan cafe and juice bar serving Jamaican “inspired” offerings. I put “inspired” in quotes because the owner is irie fi sure and if you know, you know. (For the non Jamaicans reading this, this is 100% a Jamaican place.) They make Jerk tofu patties and acee patties. They serve some of my favorite vegan soups from home. I love this restaurant. Ordered the ackee patty, the jerk tofu sandwich, and the meadows smoothie. All the food was delicious- the patty was crisp and tasty, the sandwich was a great combination of flavors, and the smoothie was creamy and amazing. It was a joy speaking with Ashé, who is incredibly and kind and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend, and I hope everyone comes and supports this small business!
