We've been fortunate enough to dine here on several occasions, and LORE never ceases to amaze. Every dish showcases an inspired balance of flavors and textures. The Kimchi Uttapam is a standout, blending vibrant spices and tangy, fermented flavors into a dish that’s as comforting as it is innovative.The Biscuits & Gravy with mushroom coconut ragout, chili crisp, and a perfectly fried egg is divine—comfort food elevated.

The atmosphere is cozy yet refined, making it the perfect spot for a special afternoon out or a casual gathering with friends. The team’s passion for what they do shines through in every aspect, from the creative menu to the exceptional service.

“I’ve been to this restaurant twice, and while the food is generally good—some dishes, like the fried chicken, stand out—the overall dining experience leaves much to be desired. Both times, our food arrived within minutes of ordering, but the temperature of the dishes was less than ideal, which made it feel rushed. Additionally, the tables are packed very closely together, making it uncomfortable and not very enjoyable.

The service was another drawback; the servers seemed rushed and were not particularly friendly, which took away from the experience. Overall, while the food has its moments, I’d much rather go to Win Son for Taiwanese cuisine, as it offers better quality and a more pleasant dining atmosphere.“

“Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Surprised that this isn't one of those spots with a long wait as the space is open and inviting, the service good and the food very good. We had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a shrimp po boy. Both excellent. Will come back for sure“

“We scored a table late on a Thursday night. The bar is swanky and cute, with great interior design and personal touches like the illustrations on their dishes. We arrived to low-lit restaurant/bar with vibey music and a fresh new menu.

The cocktails were great. The Apollonian was citrusy Smokey punch and the Limoncello Milk Punch felt so special.

The Stracciatella was a delightful surprise, while the Calabrese was a spicy hot wing that made me wanting more. For mains I had the Smashed Meatball Parm which DID NOT disappoint. The fries had great texture and the sandwich was so flavorful it left me wanting more. We topped it off with the delightful Cannolis that was crunched and sweet.“

The vibe in the restaurant is Coming Soon (quirky, diverse art, fun light fixtures, great furniture, table settings) meets cool bar, and the staff are down to earth and attentive.

The food is pretty perfect. We had the bread, Caesar salad, meatballs, trout and skirt steak. All were perfect. The bread is crusty, so moist and paired with the butter is so good. The meatballs are wildly soft and decadent with a perfect red sauce. The mains are really well balanced and delicious.

We didn’t get the burger; the next time we go we will. I am skeptical about a $30 burger, but they’re doing all the right things!“

“Everything about this restaurant was amazing!! Starting with the vibe and ambiance as soon as you walk in, the lights and aesthetic totally curated the experience. I ordered a spicy strawberry margarita with a tajin rim for happy hour, and both the margarita and the rim were perfect. The food was absolutely delicious!!! I got the grilled chicken and, after much deliberation on the sides due to all of the market vegetables sounding great, the carrots with herbs and the street corn. The chicken was not only immensely flavorful but also juicy, which is sometimes hard to find with restaurant chicken. Overall, will be returning when I visit the city.“

“The Canary is by far the best locals bar in Crown Heights. Everyone is very friendly. Excellent food with an array of the best beer and whiskey Ireland has to offer. Best Guinness pour I have found outside of Ireland! Live music on Sundays earlier in the evening. A must see if you are in Brooklyn!“

The vibe of the restaurant was cute too, although unfortunate to be seated next to a very loud table which made it very distracting and hard to have our own conversations.

Service was average, staff was nice but would like to see them at least offer a fork or straw when they see a small child at the table.“

“phenomenal jerk box (jerk chicken); drinks are good too. Service a little slow, I think because of the bake and shark a member of my party ordered, that my order was held hostage but taste of that jerk chicken was redemption, absolutely superb!!!!“

The food is always good and fresh and they always listen to and accomodate any special requests (I usually ask them not to cut my wrap and they happily oblige). “Okay this is a little updated review. I still love Eden's after years of patronage and they are my go to for lunch pretty much everyday of the week but I also found weird fiber stuff in my salad today and I'm pretty sure I ate a lot of it. I really hope it's not like plastic fibers or hairs...

One other feedback would be please don't skip massaging the kale for the GOAT bowl. I get the GOAT all the time and 90 % of the time it's perfect but occasionally I get just very raw, unmassaged kale that is very difficult to eat haha. Otherwise you guys are awesome, keep making amazing salads.“

“I was craving some middle eastern/Mediterranean food and this place did not disappoint! A great selection and the ingredients are all very fresh with the shish kebab made upon ordering. I had the build your own bowl and highly recommend. To top it off, the staff is very friendly and warm, even asking how the food was after!“

“I get takeout from here all the time and the food is AMAZING but for some reason the plastic fork they provide always breaks while eating and I'll find myself biting into a loose prong halfway through my bowl??? “Fresh ingredients, 2 jumbo shrimps per taco, I rather this then those tiny frozen shrimps with no texture. Burris did not come with a dipping sauce, but they were juicy enough.
I like how they grilled the tortillas as well so they are hot and a bit crispy at the same time.
Wish they would have fish tacos too.

Also they let you bring beer from the deli store to pair with tacos, that’s a big plus for me too.“
