“My favorite place in Hoboken! The owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and every delicious dish is made with love. Great coffee, omelettes and breakfast sandwiches! Cozy ambiance, good music and cool local artwork on the walls. Definitely give this place a try!“

“I grew up in Hoboken for the first 21 years of my life. At that time, Manobianco’s Deli on 3rd & Park Ave. was my Molfetesse family’s go-to store for Italian specialty foods. But, the business closed in the early ‘70s around the same time my family moved from Hoboken. Then, Losurdo’s was created…..Grazie a Dio! My father would drive from Weehawken each week to get the best breads, biscotti, deli meats & cheeses from this new store. They are hard working, professionals who keep the Italian traditions of Puglia going. Since I moved to NC 17 years ago, I STILL make the trip to Hoboken each time I visit NJ just to shop at Losurdo’s ❤️“

“It was a warm Monday morning in late July in 1994. I can back from working at the Oil Rig in Newark and really wanted a nice close Italian sandwich. Then out of nowhere Victor Rosario pulled up with a plate and at that moment I knew that this Jersey Mikes was special.“

“Excellent, don't pass this place up! Great meats, excellent bread, quick friendly service. Serves true jersey classic subs as I like to call them. Some places like to serve you more bread than meet, not submaster. I also enjoy shopping here because it is a small local business.“

“There's a reason this place has been in business for over 100 years. Worth the trip to Red Hook just to eat a sandwich. Trust me and take my word for it, you will not find a better sandwich anywhere in New York City, Philadelphia, or probably even the whole East Coast. Again, worth a special trip. ?“

“The most authentically delicious arancinE and sfincione this side of the Atlantic besides nonna’s! A sincere thank you to the friendliest hosts and staff as our group of fifty high school students and chaperones invaded their beautiful bottega! This place is amazing! Grazie di cuore in particolare allo staff!“

“This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is stunning!! Some italian classics and some twists, amazing wines and for their prices it's 100% worth it. Love this place and I can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in NYC.“

“Faicco's is like stepping into Satriale’s come to life (minus the extracurricular activities). The chicken parm hero is a mammoth sandwich packed with thinly pounded cutlets and melty cheese, all nestled in a soft, firm hero roll.
Be warned, the sandwich comes out scorching hot, and stays that way in the packaging (I traveled 20 minutes with mine before eating). So definitely let it cool a bit beforehand, and you could even split two servings considering the massive portion size.
While it's on the pricier side, the quality and quantity make it a solid value. If you're after an authentic Italian-American sandwich, Faicco's is your spot.“

“I don't know which came first, the Tik Tok calling this place the best bagel in NYC or the swarms of young and hot fashionable people flocking to try it out. This place is like if Aimé Leon Dore decided to do a deli pop-up and sell cream-cheese bagels for $16 a pop. This place is NOT a diner, it's Meow Wolf for young people who love saying yeah I'm from BROOKLYN whenever they go back home to Wisconsin. $40 for a travel mug by the way check the picture if you don't believe me.
I know what you're thinking: HATER ALERT. Whatever. Go and buy an overpriced shirt or tote bag and wear it at your next anti-capitalism protest.
Oh yeah the bagel was delicious but definitely not worth SIX TEEN dollars I don't care how cute the vibe is.“

“10/10 on all fronts. Great selection of items for purchase, a lovely staff and the best heros in Brooklyn. I’m not kidding, the cutlets just by themselves have actual seasoning and are so good. Sandwich creations are always perfectly balanced Great desserts and just a great neighborhood friendliness that is so missed in this area. Will always return.“

“Little hole-in-the-wall place with a ton of character and good food. The owner was super friendly and accommodating (let me order a breakfast sandwich after breakfast hours). We chatted while our order was made and it made for a nice personal experience. We felt valued although we were "just tourists".
Check em out, good food, good prices, good service.“

“Another cheap eat rec in 8 Avenue, Brooklyn. Ba Xuyên is a neighborhood favorite for affordable and homey vietnamese food. The shop is operated by some vietnamese aunties, serving a variety of banh mi, authentic street snacks and fruit shakes.
I’ve already been there at least three times whenever I’m craving for banh mi or feeling broke.
*Banh Mi Pate Thit Nguoi (Combination #1)
Banh mi is priced up to $8 in good portion size and hearty fillings. Every banh mi has a base of cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrots and green pepper. My go-to banh mi order is the bestselling combination #1. It has ham, pork, pork teriyaki & BBQ with paté and butter. It is so filling that I can get two meals out of it.
*Jackfruit Shake
I can’t leave this place without getting their milkshake. They blend actual fruits into the shakes, giving it a natural and sweet flavor. They have tropical fruit flavors like lychee, taro, papaya and durian. I heard good things about their avocado shake, but I always stick to my favorite jackfruit shake.“

“Impeccable service, excellent food, and reasonable prices.
Personally I love the Parisian sandwich. Bread is always on point (which is increasingly hard to find), and the sandwich is simple yet incredibly flavorful, which I often put down to the quality of ingredients.
If you're looking for an authentic, well-run French sandwicherie, this is the place.
Thanks again“

“This is hands down the best sandwich I have ever had. When you take a bite, you are instantly transported. The crisp bread (choice of baguette or ciabatta, toasted v not) and fresh sliced meat was perfection. Added arugula and pesto which was a must. If I could eat here everyday, I would. Cannolis were a great sweet tooth fix - fresh, crisp and light. Owner and staff were wonderful to chat with! Thank you!“

“Best sandwiches bowls and smoothies in Queens!! Service is excellent, food is always fresh but most of all it is super delicious. I have never been in such a small place with such giant flavors. I wish I could give them a 10 stars ratting!! I recommend this restaurant 1000% so ?“

“I like the old school vibe of this place. Like days gone by. Roast beef and fries were really good. Au jus made the sandwich. The other people with me got plain hamburgers which were just ok. Def visit this place for a retro feel of yesteryear. Parking is tight. Tiny lot next to the building. Order outside at the window foe take out. Inside is just waiter and sit down service which we went for. Another check off for me for a list of must try places.
Parking: Very small tight lot“

“In a world where hunger strikes like a relentless villain-sama, Subway stands as a beacon of hope, a sanctuary where heroes are forged. Today, I embarked on an epic quest to create the ultimate sandwich, and Subway did not disappoint!
As I entered the Subway dojo, the air was thick with anticipation. The Subway Masters, Johnny-San and Lillie-Chan in their signature uniforms, greeted me with the respect due to a wandering warrior. Their skills were unmatched, their knowledge of ingredients vast—a true testament to their training.
The assembly line was like the forging of a legendary weapon. Each ingredient was a sacred relic: the crisp lettuce, a shield to ward off the enemies of hunger; the succulent meats, the sword to strike with precision; the cheeses, a mystical aura that binds the sandwich together. And let’s not forget the sauces—each one a secret technique passed down through generations, adding depth and power to the creation.
Choosing my bread was the first challenge. I opted for the hearty Italian herbs and cheese—its golden crust symbolizing the strength of an ancient warrior. Then came the fillings, each layer a strategic choice in the battle for flavor supremacy. I could feel the spirit of a thousand anime protagonists guiding me, urging me to craft a sub that would stand the test of time.
The moment of truth arrived as I took the first bite. It was as if the heavens opened, and I could hear the triumphant music of victory! The flavors exploded like a finishing move in a climactic battle, each element playing its part to perfection. The sandwich was not just food—it was the embodiment of a hero’s journey, a testament to the power of customization and creativity.
Subway, you’ve done it again! My hunger was defeated, my spirit revitalized. This was no ordinary meal; it was a saga, a tale of culinary excellence that I will recount for generations. If you seek a meal that’s more than just food—if you seek an adventure—Subway is yours.“
“This out of the way place along the East River waterfront was having a free concert on Saturday. Held in the parking lot, dozens of people of all ages were enjoying the rock music. They were also selling light refreshments to enjoy while hearing the bands play. Felt very wholesome, relaxed and fun. Perfect summer night. Enjoy“

“I live out of state haven't had a great NY bagel it lived up to my expectations and the salmon and cream cheese but when I went to pay I fell over w the price of $19.00 !! The inflation is crazy. The guy on the line ahead of me bought only 6 bagels on tub of cream cheese and the bill was $32.00!!! So yes delicious yes tasty but only if you want to break the bank.
Vegetarian options: It's disturbing how much food cost today.
Parking: I enjoyed the food and really appreciated the fast service.“

“Wanted to try this place. Worked a 12 hour shift the day before and was really craving an amazing Italian sub to eat while i watched tv and absolutely rotted on my couch to recover. This was the only place that i could had banana peppers which is crucial for an italian sub. If you don’t do banana peppers im sorry but you’re doing it wrong. As soon as i walked in, the vibes were excellent. Price point was great especially for what you get, subs are huge and it comes with chips and i got a black cherry soda. I love that they have these cards you fill out, it honestly makes it so much easier especially when you get a lot of toppings like i do. It was absolutely delicious. I’m not even supposed to eat gluten and dairy but when i need to have a cheat day this place is on my list. So good. Will be coming back. And the people working are super kind.“

“Excellent turkey meatball sandwich, served super hot and fresh (they make everything to order so you never get a sandwich that’s been sitting around). Staff was awesome, and the cashier showed a clear passion for the food as his recommendations were detailed and genuine, and importantly the place was very clean. Looking forward to coming back at some pour!“

“I went on a Saturday late in the morning and this spot definitely gets busy as the line was out the door (mainly because the place itself is very small). If you’re waiting outside after ordering, they’ll come out and bring your food to you. I got the Shepardi wrap along with the frozen coffee. Every bite was delicious and I didn’t want it to end. The coffee was interesting as it’s made with tahini which you get mainly in the after taste. I liked it but it might not be for everyone. Idk about you but $25 for breakfast is far from ideal so I would say this is more of once in a while a treat yourself type of meal. Will come back in a few months.“

“Deliriously delicious shop in the East Village! The sandwich rolls were the best I've tasted in NYC and perfectly toasted. My love and I enjoyed The Hog, a vermicelli and meat salad with the best fish sauce, and a lamb taco. I especially was impressed with the cleanliness and food handling. Go to "about us" to read the interesting story of the two friends/owners who we were so fortunate too meet at Wheelers in Sheepshead Bay.“

“My friends and I stopped here on the way out of NY because it was the closest and cheapest option that didn’t have bad reviews. Well, it turned out to be a great stop!! We were very pleasantly surprised. There’s almost no room for seating, and it’s very cramped, but the staff are all very kind and they make sandwiches fast. All of their options sounded good, and I was honestly conflicted. But, I’m happy with what I chose. Everyone was very familiar with each other, and it was just a welcoming place. The speed and convenience ended up being exactly what we needed.“

“I am a visitor from Australia ?? ? and we decided to make a special trip to the very well-known Fiore's House of Quality in Hoboken. Had to line up, they are very busy and the choices are amazing. Check the advertising for the choices they have on different days. The sandwitches. rolls and breadsticks - filled with the famous fresh made Morzarella and the different tasty meats are amazing. You can't eat them there - you have to take them with you - there is a very nice Park near by - there you can have a culinary feast. It's definitely worth a trip.“
