“I have visited Charley’s Bayonne twice and both times I had a positive experience.

The first time I was there I dined-in. They have a huge dine in area with lots of tables. The order was ready within 10 minutes and my wife and I enjoyed our Philly cheesesteaks.

I downloaded their app and created an account which gave me a $5 credit for my next purchase so I ordered through the app and picked up. This time I ordered a Bacon Cheesesteak which was also tasty. As soon as I arrived (approximately 10 minutes after I had placed the order) the order was ready and properly packed with each cheesesteak in a separate box (much better than Subway’s packaging). I also ordered a side of cheese sauce but I do not recommend it. It was cold and tasteless, much different than Wendy’s cheese sauce.

Both times I visited were on a weekend early afternoon and both times the place was dead. I’m not sure if it gets busier later or during weekdays but I hope this business survives because I definitely recommend it.

You can expect to pay between 8 and 13 for your cheesesteak depending on the size. They also offer wings and other types of sandwiches.“

“Okay, this is the number 1 best subway in Bayonne! My dad and I walked in and we ordered a Veggie Delight and our cashier, Kevin, was the best cashier ever. Kevin and my dad were talking about how my dad owns Subways and they were both talking to each other like they were best friends and we found out that Kevin works 14 hours in 3 different Subways. Then when Kevin finished making the Veggie Delight, it tasted so good and it very nice and hot. Then when my dad left to go get something from the car, Kevin and I talked a lot and he was so nice and I told him that he made the best sandwiches ever. I also noticed how hard Kevin worked every single day to make customers feel welcome and happy. He was just an amazing guy and he was such an Angel with a big heart. “Sandwich was so overstuffed it was almost impossible to eat without making a mess. fresh bread, tons of meat, and somehow everything still tasted balanced. little shop gets crowded around lunch and there’s usually people waiting near the counter. not really a place you hang out for long, more like grab your food and figure it out as you go.“

They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is stunning!! Some italian classics and some twists, amazing wines and for their prices it's 100% worth it. “OMG there is no better sandwich shop anywhere. We came here in the 60’s when the docks had bulk cargo. Between the truckers and the longshoremen it was packed between 11:30 and 1:00.

The bread is a wonderful French baguette that comes from another great spot in Williamsburg but you’ll have to ask them for their source I won’t spill it here. “I believe I've found the locals' sandwich shop, where the pastrami is prime, and the soups are served piping hot. In my search for an alternative to Katz's, I stumbled upon this shop hidden in the shadow of the Flatiron Building. This place is so good that I went twice in one week. I'm a big fan of split pea soup, which was excellent, served in a bowl filled to the brim. The pastrami sandwich and the Flatiron Delight are both outstanding! Served with a pickle on the side. There is a bottle of mustard waiting on the side that is optional of course. I do believe this is the alternative to Katz, perhaps even better, avoid the tourist trap of Katz's and park yourself at the counter at Eisenberg's.“

“I read the service loan not because the service staff was an issue, but I am sick and tired of being penalized for using cash. I didn’t realize I went to the counter. I made my order selected everything and then I was told if I need to pay cash. I need to go to a kiosk. Annoying because now I have to go through all these menus to figure out what I just ordered feed cash into machine wait for that to come out. Totally unnecessary step and unfortunately something that would make me not want to stop here because they added a layer of complexity. It wasn’t necessary. Now I’m sure by the tone of my review that you could probably tell how old I am but that’s fine by me. I like walking into an establishment explaining what I want paying cash and walking out. It’s that simple but yet this isn’t. That being said, the food is fabulous so if the kiosk doesn’t bother you and you never pay cash then so be it.“

“Walked to Shelskys on a cold windy Brooklyn Friday afternoon, but when I say it was worth it....it was worth it. After about 5 min of browsing, we decided on the Tuna Salad, which is served with sliced jalapeños and a spicy shrimp paste. It's got some heat, but nothing a Mexican from Chicago cant handle! Everything you see is fresh, and you can taste it. Prices aren't cheap but sometimes you gotta treat yo self!!! 10/10!“

My love and I enjoyed The Hog, a vermicelli and meat salad with the best fish sauce, and a lamb taco. I especially was impressed with the cleanliness and food handling.
