Poppies is official. Being from NYC and searching for Authentic Boars head in NJ is a problem. Poppies keeps. Boars Head as it's only brand for their sandwiches, and I vaguely recall thanking God when they arrived on the scene. I'm a Brooklyn Bodega sandwich girl and Poppies is definitely the place to get a sandwich in Essex County. You order your sandwich at one of the kiosks that they have around the store. They have fresh toppings fresh bread and friendly staff. They lose .5 stars from me because their chips game isn't official. I'm a Deep River/Cape Cod kettle chip fanatic and Poppies doesn't meet my needs there. They don't have kettle chips from any brand. However, their sandwiches can't be beat...read full review

This was our first time going to poppies and we actually enjoyed it but, the price of the food is a little high compared to your local corner store but it’s passable we will definitely be stopping by again. Thanks Again.
