“It had been a little bit since we've been in (life gets in the way sometimes) but as soon as my husband & I walked in the door we were hit with that heavenly Blimpies scent of fresh ingredients that is indicative of Blimpies & Blimpies alone. It just smells like delicious subs. We realized, after speaking to the wonderful owner, that we've been getting the BEST subs in the world at this location for over 40 years! My pick is a "Blimpies Best" (extra oil & vinegar) honestly it was perfect. My husband gets a turkey & provolone which was terrific (he gave me puppy dog eyes & got a huge chunk of mine too)
Eateries come & go but the best stay, this is worthy of place in your rotation.
I should also say that I live in Nutley with quite a few Italian delis & pizzerias so if I'm saying the Italian sub (Blimpies Best) is terrific that's saying a lot.“

“I stopped by this deli on a whim, and I’m really glad I did. Their cheesesteak is honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while—super flavorful, plenty of meat and cheese, and just really satisfying overall. You can tell they know what they’re doing.

The staff was also really friendly and down-to-earth. They made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in, and the whole vibe of the place is just comfortable and laid-back. It’s the kind of spot you feel good coming back to.

“We were there yesterday, for a late lunch. This is the cleanest Subway I have ever been in. It is inside a convenience store. The family who runs it is lovely, efficient, and kind. And you can buy lottery tickets there. Thank you so much for a great lunch.“

However, they were very patient with us and told us what the special sandwiches of the day were. We got that day's special which was roastbeef. It was quite delicious. “Based on my experience there, I loved it but I’m hesitant to give five stars cause I only had the ribeye cheesesteak which may be one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had out in NJ in all seriousness. Felt a little pricey but so does everything else these days. Even then, the cheesesteak was worth every cent. Highly recommended.“

I came in for lunch around 11:40 AM, and even with a line of 8 customers plus online orders coming in—and being the only two there—they handled everything with efficiency and care. Each customer was served in a timely manner, and they never lost their friendly, kind attitude. By 12 PM, every customer had been served and left happy!! It’s rare to see that level of consistency under pressure. They both truly deserve praise and recognition!“
