“This store is my go-to after a day of driving and shopping. It is on my way home. I always look forward to seeing the workers with their smiles and pleasantness. Prices are reasonable and the store is clean. Plenty of seating. There is a large parking lot, but sometimes I'm not able to get a spot near the store and have to go to another part of the strip mall. Great location for this store and has been there for a long time.“

“Easily one of the best sandwich shops in JC. I've been through almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. “I was casually walking down rainbow road when Mario, Donkey Kong and Shy guy grabbed me and brought me to this Subway. A guy whose name I think was maneater told me I had to eat 100 cookies or else Donkey Kong would turn me into a banana. I said ok and began this grueling challenge. I started chowing down on the cookies and when I reached the halfway point Machoman told me that the rest of the cookies would be footlong cookies, I said "radical" and continued. I was enjoying the last two cookies when all of a sudden Rick Grimes and superman walked in and blew up Donkey Kong, Mario and Shy guy and told me the walkers were coming and I had to leave. I said goodbye to Magic Mixing Machine and he said that wherever I go I could just reach into my pocket and pull out a free footlong cookie.10/10 would recommend, if you survive the walkers roaming around.“

“This is my favorite neighborhood lunch/breakfast spot for takeout. I pick up or order from here multiple times a week, and have never had a complaint. The food is excellent, the service is fast, and the employees are friendly and really part of the community in Downtown JC. Their breakfast sandwiches are some of the best around, and for lunch their salads and sandwiches have great portions and options. They even have some tables for eat-in if you need! “I always drive by this place and since my son is off, took him there. The staff was nice and made sure that us being there for the first time knew exactly what we were ordering. I got a turkey sandwich and my son got the chicken cutlet. Both sandwiches were amazing and my son complimented that this was the best he had and like wise same for me. I asked him what would u rate it he gave 5 stars out of 5. So for a ten year old think he knows what he's talking about. “I work in CT but placed an order on the phone with them (turned out to be DoorDash). When I called to confirm the lunch order, they didn't have any record of it. But Alexis (Asst GM) assured me that my executive and his team would get their lunch today. She researched my order and had me send all the details I could provide, took my phone number, and called me back several times to ensure we were all set. This was not a huge catering order, but she treated me with the same courtesy as if it were. I want to thank her for all of her assistance. I'm sure the team will enjoy their lunch!!!“

“Hey I live in McGinley Square, in Jersey City and the local Subway sandwich shop is just a block away, but Super Hero Sub Shop blows Subway out of the water! The bread is always soft, fresh, tasty and their meats are NOT processed, but cooked/roasted whole and you taste the seasonings in the meat beautifully! I just got a Medium size hot roast beef, with Muenster cheese, onions and mayo and it is DELICIOUS. I wish they stayed open past 4pm but they truly are a lunchtime treat! Highly recommend!“

“Simply the best Italian deli in Manhattan. I've had them all and Cappone's is top IMO. I've been there 4-5 times in the last month and they're consistent. Bread is always fresh, specials are creative and they use real authentic Italian ingredients that can't be found elsewhere. The bread is oustanding. “If you want old school Italian, this is the place for you. My family heard about the Belmont Tavern and decided to drive 40 minutes to check this place out. We arrived early on a Friday night, around 5:45PM. It is in a little bit of a rough area and finding parking on the street can be a challenge. The interior does not look like it's changed since it opened. Red and white checkered table cloths, wood paneled walls, and even a phone booth that lights up when you shut the door! All of the customers are all locals. The Tavern is known for their Shrimp Beeps and Chicken Savoy. My recommendation is the Shrimp Beeps over spaghetti. If you order more than one serving, it is served family style. Some of my family members ordered the Chicken Murphy and Chicken Savoy which are more like chicken parts rather than chicken breast. They both thought it was on the dry side. The service is good although we did feel a bit rushed since it was getting busy.“

The inside of the store looks exactly the same as it did 30 years ago when my dad used to bring me here and the quality and cleanliness has remained the same.
