“I order online every time. I got a cookie last time, and holy cow, it's ridiculously good. The brownie tastes better when it's crunchier (I put mine in the fridge). I'll never forget the first time some random client at my dad's job offered me jersey Mike's. Years ago, he changed my life. Way better than subway, I'm so glad they opened one in bloomfield, I used to go all the way to West orange.

Parking: Parking is so bad if you don't have a small car. Very tight lot, and at peak time, you won't find space. Highly recommend you come when it isn't busy, or get takeout.

“Stopped in 90min before closing, around 5pm. First off, everything on the menu sounded really good and my wife were kind of torn... The owner literally immediately engaged us and was like "tell me what you're feelin?" - this gentleman steered us to sandwich paradise ?

We decided to split a large classic Italian sub with a couple changes and ended up with a 12" sub (but I'd bet someone it was more like 14") with ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone. Added lettuce/tom/oil/vinegar/mayo with salt n pepper and some oregano. The cost was $17.05 ($8.50 all in with tax each if splitting) and this bad boy was plenty for the two of us!

They *only* use Boars Head meats/cheeses and let me tell you, it absolutely SHOWED!! High quality ingredients result in a high quality product and this was no exception! It was the absolute best f***ing sandwich either of us have had in a long time! This guy was a true artisan and master of his craft!

Stop in and get an Italian sub and I promise that not only will you not be disappointed but you'll be amazed and enjoy the best sandwich you've had in recent memory!

We plan on going back again real soon to try the Philly cheese steak, get another Italian sub and try the Mac salad which also looked amazing. Will update this review or post another one when we do!

EDIT: Went back the following morning and got a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. ????

EDIT 3: 11/1/2024 - New special on Friday called " Philly Cheesesteak Fridays" - $5 for a cheesesteak and $7.50 for cheesesteak with fries and a soda! Just picked up 2 of them for me and the Mrs.! Guess what? AWESOME AS USUAL AND LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE!“

Don't be fooled by the pictures: yes, indeed there are guys grilling sandwiches in a shed parked in a landscapers driveway. But the food lives up to the high rating, and I'm glad I stopped by. I got the KC BBQ and it was lovely, produced quickly, with plenty of meat. There are tables in the corner of the lot and plenty of parking. I would have to order 56 sandwiches with 3 to 4 different choices.
Our bus wouldn't arrive to our hotel until after 8:00 pm

Upon our arrival, someone would deliver our lunches that evening for the next day.
I have always appreciated the extra mile that they went for our bus group.

“I am a charter pilot. I had a flight from Toronto Canada to Teterboro NJ (with a quick turn) to Guyana South America to Miami FL. It was a 16+ hour day. Only two pilots, no flight attendant and no food for us. The day before, I contacted Matthew at the store, ordered and paid for two sandwiches and the Airport Staff at Signature Flight support West was kind enough to pick it up. Half way to Guyana I opened the bag and found three subs and two containers of cookies. I thought we got someone elses order but no, Matthew had given us an extra sub and cookies for the long trip. And they were delicious.
Service is one thing, but he went way above and beyond, and it made our day, which was long and grueling.

“Always a great experience at this location, staff are friendly. And I'm in and out quickly. The bathrooms are clean, and there's always good parking. We stop by on our drive from Brooklyn to Pennsylvania and this spot is really conveniently located off of i280. The only friendly suggestion I'd provide for the helpful staff and management is the more junior staff should always ask if someone wants anything else after asking if you want it mikes way (yes I do, and then I want mayo and such). Otherwise, incredible place.

Could not have been more pleased. Great prices too. Old school atmosphere that is fun to experience. But it’s not a place you can linger, you eat and go. “Modest, sub shack with on-street parking near busy intersection of Clifton. This spot is a hidden gem serving up delicious, fresh, thinly sliced cold cuts and hot hero sandwiches for the locals. The shop is small, and no real dining area, but they put the attention where it belongs--on the subs! The rolls they use are soft and chewy. Onions are shaved, lettuce Shredded, nice size tomato, oil vinegar, and seasonings. Boom! It's perfection. And I don't know what I appreciate more, the smiling service the 2 guys serve up with the food or the outrageously reasonable pricing, but seriously guys, go out and support this little shop 2 doors down from Mr. Cupcake. You won't be disappointed, just thank me later.“
