UPDATE: It’s been about five years since my original review, and Mordi’s has definitely earned our business back. The food is still fantastic, and ordering through the app has made the busy lunch rush much easier. It’s once again a go-to for our office lunches. 🥪🔥

The Chicken Parm, Buffalo Chicken, and Crazy Cuban are some of our favorites. There can still be a wait because this place gets BUSY, but our recent experiences have been much better. Glad to have Mordi’s back in the lunch rotation!

Old Review

I was torn over writing this review. I have eaten a Mordi’s a number of times since it is extremely close to my office. They are a busy place the food is always good. However they need to take a moment and work on their customer service. We recently placed a big order for our Friday lunch, when we returned to the office we realized one sandwich was missing. We immediately called the shop as we got into the car. As soon as they picked they placed us on hold for five minutes without even given us a chance to tell them why we were calling. When they returned to the phone they said they are not taking any phone orders because they were busy and hung up the phone on us again without even hearing their customer our.

When my partner entered the shop and asked who hung up on us the woman behind the counter half heartily apologized. I’m sorry with so many great lunch options in this area Mordi’s will have to treat their customers with more dignity and respect before my office gives them any of our business.“

“My office has been ordering lunch from here periodically over the past year, and today we placed a larger order for the entire office. Before placing it, I called the store twice to make sure we had enough food and sides for everyone.

Tommy was not only incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but also one of the friendliest people I've ever dealt with. By the time I arrived to pick up the order, he made me feel like family!

“I had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a Subway, and it’s entirely thanks to Kumar. From the moment I spoke to him, he greeted me with a genuineness and made me feel welcome. I’m a bit particular about how I like my sandwich made, and instead of rushing me or seeming annoyed, Kumar listened patiently to every single request and made sure he got it exactly right. He even offered a couple of suggestions for combinations I hadn’t thought of, and they turned out to be perfect. The sandwich itself was honestly the best one I’ve had.

Everything was fresh, the toppings were laid out evenly instead of all bunched in the middle, and it was toasted exactly the way I asked. You can tell Kumar actually takes pride in his work rather than just going through the motions. That kind of consistency under pressure says a lot about someone’s work ethic. Kumar is the kind of employee any business would be lucky to have. He was kind, patient, professional, and genuinely friendly the entire time, even though the store was busy. Honestly, I’m not sure what it is, not sure who is doing what, but everybody who works behind the counter are some of the friendliest people in food service I’ve ever met! “First time here and new to the area. I had no wait time. Smoke turkey and provolone sub was perfection. Soft fresh roll and all the veggies and meat was freshly sliced. I asked for specific items and they made it exactly like I asked.

Now the guy working that day can use some people skills (greet people, smile, saying thank you) but he did make an amazing hoagie. Someone just please tell him it’s ok to smile at paying customers 😁

The establishment has street parking, wide sidewalks and easy to see awning. Inside needs some cleaning, paint and new tiles. Nothing much to look more welcoming but the food is amazing, still.

No inside dining or bathroom. Some seats while you wait.

I also love the clear glass to see your sandwich being made. That’s so classic!

Will be back because summer is definitely for nice chilled subs.

If the day gets away from you and it’s dinner time and you have nothing to cook, make it a tapas night in. My favorites are the manchego bites, shrimp and garlic, croquettes de jamon, and calamar. Something awesome is that they have a mini market where all my favorite items are available to purchase to make at home!“
