Hands down, best customer service I have received in a sandwich shop and I go to many. The sandwich was just ok, nothing to rave about. I had the tuna fish. It was smeared on like mla spread or mayo, very thin layer. They just don't make sandwiches like they used to. Shop was clean, looks well maintained.“

“It had been a little bit since we've been in (life gets in the way sometimes) but as soon as my husband & I walked in the door we were hit with that heavenly Blimpies scent of fresh ingredients that is indicative of Blimpies & Blimpies alone. It just smells like delicious subs. We realized, after speaking to the wonderful owner, that we've been getting the BEST subs in the world at this location for over 40 years! My pick is a "Blimpies Best" (extra oil & vinegar) honestly it was perfect. My husband gets a turkey & provolone which was terrific (he gave me puppy dog eyes & got a huge chunk of mine too)
Eateries come & go but the best stay, this is worthy of place in your rotation.
I should also say that I live in Nutley with quite a few Italian delis & pizzerias so if I'm saying the Italian sub (Blimpies Best) is terrific that's saying a lot.“

“Had a bad experience with a driver that picked up the delivery online. If you want the best delivery service, call the store directly because they will take very good care of you. They have their own drivers, so you can be assured that your food will be delivered fresh and safely handled. The owner made things right by making me a new sandwich and delivering it personally. “I stopped by this deli on a whim, and I’m really glad I did. Their cheesesteak is honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while—super flavorful, plenty of meat and cheese, and just really satisfying overall. You can tell they know what they’re doing.

The staff was also really friendly and down-to-earth. They made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in, and the whole vibe of the place is just comfortable and laid-back. It’s the kind of spot you feel good coming back to.

“Unlike some others we had excellent service. When ordering a salad, it was carefully chopped for easy eating. At other locations they sometimes just throw whole slices of meat on the salad which is much more difficult to cut with the chintzy plastic knives they provide.

In September 1990 I moved from Newark to Kearny and on that weekend I experienced the great subs and service at D&F deli and was very happy. 35 years later it's the same, maybe even better. I'm diabetic now so I can't enjoy bread as much as I would like but the staff is kind and make a sub salad for me. I go in the later afternoon and it's a virtual all star team that serves as the staff. Anthony, Justin, Brandon, Emily and Debi are unique wonderful human beings who make everyone feel like family. The person who helps make these individual all stars into a cohesive team of Avengers is their inspirational leader Zack. He's the straw that stirs the drink. Zack serves as a mainspring does in an old fashioned watch and keeps everything working perfectly. Zack is a very kind human being with a big heart, the size of a 6 foot sub. Highest possible recommendation for D&F deli. Go there, you'll be happy you did.“

“I went to Jersey Mike’s today cause I haven’t had it in a while. The last time I had it I had a complaint this time I have it. I have another complaint first of all tuna fish is not supposed to be wet. I paid $10 for this sandwich and the most I got out of it was lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. I’m not trying to compare, but I was in North Carolina last month and got a Jersey Mike’s sandwich and I couldn’t even eat it all cause it was too much for me here I gotta eat the whole thing in order to taste it. It’s more bread than tuna second, I saw a young man in there behind the counter, grab condiments in his hand and walk to the back that to me was unsatisfactory because this is a restaurant a full restaurant and you walking away with condiments in your hand, going to the back how does that look for a customer? I don’t care if he was bringing it for his own or whatever I don’t know that’s just it. That’s why he shouldn’t have done that then the other man he’s steady constantly talking over your food. They don’t change their gloves unless you ask them, he dealt with a customer that was getting jalapeños all of this hot stuff and then gonna ask me man. What do you want in your sandwich? I want you to change your gloves. I just think that there should be some kind of a supervision when you at these restaurants Totally disappointed with this wet, tuna, fish sandwich, and it’s not even enough tuna fish on this bread. It’s more bread, lettuce, and tomatoes and onions than anything so nobody to do better.“
