“My wife and I are visiting from Tampa, Florida. It was just a short walk to the sandwich shop (1/4 mile) or so. I can't rant and rave about this place enough. My experience was amazing and the food was better. 100% recommend anything meatball 🤤. The cheese steak 😋. I need to eat every sandwich 🥹.

“My office has been ordering lunch from here periodically over the past year, and today we placed a larger order for the entire office. Before placing it, I called the store twice to make sure we had enough food and sides for everyone.

Tommy was not only incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but also one of the friendliest people I've ever dealt with. By the time I arrived to pick up the order, he made me feel like family!

“It had been a little bit since we've been in (life gets in the way sometimes) but as soon as my husband & I walked in the door we were hit with that heavenly Blimpies scent of fresh ingredients that is indicative of Blimpies & Blimpies alone. It just smells like delicious subs. We realized, after speaking to the wonderful owner, that we've been getting the BEST subs in the world at this location for over 40 years! My pick is a "Blimpies Best" (extra oil & vinegar) honestly it was perfect. My husband gets a turkey & provolone which was terrific (he gave me puppy dog eyes & got a huge chunk of mine too)
Eateries come & go but the best stay, this is worthy of place in your rotation.
I should also say that I live in Nutley with quite a few Italian delis & pizzerias so if I'm saying the Italian sub (Blimpies Best) is terrific that's saying a lot.“

I go in the later afternoon and it's a virtual all star team that serves as the staff. Anthony, Justin, Brandon, Emily and Debi are unique wonderful human beings who make everyone feel like family. The person who helps make these individual all stars into a cohesive team of Avengers is their inspirational leader Zack. He's the straw that stirs the drink. Zack serves as a mainspring does in an old fashioned watch and keeps everything working perfectly. Zack is a very kind human being with a big heart, the size of a 6 foot sub. Highest possible recommendation for D&F deli. Go there, you'll be happy you did.“

Update March 2026: Been back 3 times since bad experience. They must have had a bad day then. Each time now food is good, well prepared, and staff is friendly and efficient. Thank you 🙏 for improvements!“

“Popped into Henry's Fine Foods to get take out sandwiches for my sister and I to get sandwiches to bring to my Mom's place. The have a descent sized seating area and a large we selection of convenience items.

We ordered BLTs and Grilled Cheese. Sandwiches were great and the 2 Team Members were wonderful !!!

They have a parking lot on Bloomfield Avenue which is a HUGE BONUS !!!“

“Haven't been to this location in a long time so decided to try it. There were about three different parties waiting and no one was at the front. When the gal finally did come she apologized and sat the party in front of us. Then the manager came and said there was only one server that day and the wait would be about 15-20 minutes. The party behind us left since they had small children. We had no problem with the wait and Kat was our waitress, well she was everybody's waitress. LOL. Had to give her props, she did an excellent job. Our question was why didn't the manager help out? Maybe that's not the way they do things there but we felt a little sorry for poor Kat. But she was at her sweetest and most efficient self despite waiting on all the tables so she should be commended for that.“
