They went above and beyond for me and my family despite it being so packed. They made sure multiple times to check in on us, and I feel like we were checked in on more than everyone else. “I chose a simple breakfast today! Cyndia's knocked it out of the park with their Over Easy Eggs, Home Fries and Whole Wheat toast! Everything was cooked to perfection. It was awesome! “Home to their signature veal chop, this establishment located at a strip mall off of Minnisink Road in Totowa is where a couple of my friends and I were looking for a new place to try our Sunday dinner and happily ended up at Robert’s Scratch Kitchen. Reservations are highly recommended and easily done with OpenTable. Upon arrival, the interior was elegant without being too stiff or stuffy. We were graciously greeted by the host, and so began our delicious dining experience. We were seated within a few minutes. The menu consisted of a variety of Italian, seafood, steak, pork, and veal dishes that changed with the seasons. The use of an iPad to show the rotated specials was a novel idea. For appetizers, we decided to share the fried calamari, stuffed mushrooms, burrata eggplant, and crab cake. As our entrees, we opted for Rigatoni, consisting of fresh pasta, crumbled Italian sausage, peas, crushed red pepper, pink sauce, shaved parmesan, Linguini and Clams, Branzino, and Short Rib Pasta. Complimentary warm bread with butter started our meal. Being a “scratch kitchen," the food was served and made with the freshest ingredients, meaning that there were no frozen or processed foods used in preparing meals for patrons. The food was delicious, and the portions were plentiful. Throughout the meal, the staff, including our servers Danielle and Juan, were attentive without being excessive and did a great job of making sure we were all comfortable. The dinner price was fair for a nice, quality meal. The fact that it is also a BYOB is a bonus. There are a lot of really good restaurants in this area, but this has to be one of the best, so we can recommend this place.”

“I happen to wander in to Luv Bites on a Saturday morning looking for a brunch place. It turned out to be a nice place with a fusion. We were immediately greeted by the friendly owner. The place had a cozy ambiance.They had a pretty cool menu with unique names and a variety to chose from. I ordered their Jalapeños popped Stuffed omelette. It was flavorful, had all the right spices and delicious. My friend ordered the waffle with fruits and she loved the crust and the toppings!By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. Had a great experience. Loved this place! ?”

“Seemed like a crazy Friday night when I walked in but they were very helpful when I was trying to order last minute pies. Just got finished with dinner with the family and the pizza was amazinggggg! We got a grandma square pie and a regular cheese round pizza, the crust is so good. Thank you for being so kind and accommodating! I go here once in a while but I just felt the need to write a review finally tonight because it’s always been a great experience and seeing how hard they were working tonight really made me appreciate everything!”

“The service was excellent. Sushi Lounge is open late. A benefit of those who work until the late in the evening. The specialty sushi rolls are very well thought out combinations of fish, shrimp, and vegetables. The bar is full service with Japanese and American beer on tap.The bar area of the restaurant is separated from the restaurant table area.I look forward to returning and trying more of the sushi rolls. ?Parking: The Sushi Lounge is located in a strip mall on RT 46 West.”

“Now I know why my mother has been here three times! Service was great food was great! They had so many specials it's hard to choose! I went with the stuffed calamari and the pasta with a salmon and shrimp white sauce. Wife had the eggplant appetizer special along with one of the pasta specials with red pesto. The bread for the table is fresh! As in they pop a small loaf into the oven and in 15 min you've got a loaf fresh from the oven! The chef/grandmother came around to see how everyone was enjoying their food. It's all the little things that make a difference. We'll definitely be back!”

“I wish I could remember our server's name. She was professional, great with the children, and was really attentive. We gave over 20% for her great service. This location had one of the best boneless wings I've ever had. People seem like they just don't care about the food being served in some locations. Especially in the mall, it's terrible. This Applebee's was way above in service , cleanliness and quality of foods. The drinks were very good. Kids loved their meals. We did the two for 29. I got the burger medium rare, it was exactly that. My wife got the broccoli and chicken pasta w/ Alfredo sauce , she loved it. This is probably the only location to recieve 5 stars that's a chain restaurant. It actually felt like they gave a damn. The management team is obviously doing a great job. But the server made the whole experience. My wife was so happy with our interaction. Just above professional standards. Will be returning.
