“I don't usually write long Google reviews, but after attending a buddy’s wedding in North Jersey recently, I had to drop one for this place.
Honestly, I’m not even a big cake guy, but the dessert setup at the reception caught my attention right away. They had this huge, multi-tiered custom wedding cake that looked awesome really clean work, not over the top, just super high quality. My wife and I were actually talking about how great it looked before they even cut into it.
When we finally got our slices, I expected the usual wedding cake thing: looks great, tastes like dry cardboard or straight sugar. But man, this thing was actually insane. Super moist, fresh, and tasted legit. I finished mine in about two minutes and ended up grabbing half of my wife’s slice too. It was so good I walked over to the groom during the party just to ask where they got it. He told me they had it custom designed at D’era House.
Finding a cake designer around North Jersey that makes something that actually tastes as good as it looks is pretty rare. I saved their info on my phone right then and there for our next family event.
If you’re looking for a solid wedding cake designer, custom made tiered cakes, or custom event cakes in Clifton or anywhere in the area, D’era House is 100% the real deal. Props to the baker! 💍🍰💪“

“Best ice cream shop in Essex County if not the entire state of NJ. You can taste the difference in quality, creaminess, ingredients, no artificial flavors. Small micro batches made with natural ingredients and real flavors. Great owner and staff. Very nice people who go above and beyond to help create a wonderful experience. Small space but the flavor is large. They are getting ready to launch their second storefront in Lyndhurst. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed. Favorite flavors include: Strawberry Baklava Chocolate But all are incredibly good!“

It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. Although they did have two sorbet flavors (mango and strawberry), their ice cream flavors were Cookies and Cream, Strawberry Matcha Latte, and Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownie. “Decided to stop in after a tour visit to Montclair University and receiving a gift card for Christmas. Everything was delicious. We ordered brisket fries,cheese fries, smash patty melt, Montclair Blue Burger, build your own burger and 3 shakes. Everything was amazing including the burger buns (fluffy and airy). I wish they were closer to us, Old Bridge could definitely use a really good burger place.“

When heading there on a Saturday night, the line can easily stretch to around 45 minutes. Makes the customer feel good and its a guarantee of coming back with the entire family and share with others. Lots of different choices and there are little tables to eat outside the ice cream shop. I will say a family in front of me: the mama dropped her ice cream by mistake while carrying the others for her children and they literally gave her a brand new one with no charge! “The most amazing experience ever. Can’t say enough. Both Mary and Philip are the sweetest and were absolutely a pleasure to work with. I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. They didn’t charge me a single cent. I got the same order for the following week and they did an absolutely amazing job. The BEST CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES EVER!!!! I highly recommend them and they have loyal customer for life ❤️❤️“

“I have not physically been to their store, but have watched their TikToks and live stream.( J did an absolutely stunning job with the cakes she was making today. She did happy birthday cakes, to streamers, to a gory unicorn cake that represented a Halloween theme. She is very fast handed and very detail oriented when it comes to making those cakes come to life! She also went over how she makes roses on cakes as well which as her least favorite part, was my favorite part. It was pretty fascinating and captivating learning more about the art of cakes! We also were able to see her role from cake making, to her customer service abilities. In my opinion she was pretty kickass! She is very spunky and very funny. Mike has cultivated a very positive workplace where they have fun with the job, which is what it should be about. My strongest advise is don’t knock it till you try it for yourself! Don’t listen to others opinions until you have witnessed them, their cakes, and other goodies for yourself. Not everything online is what is seems! Go check them out!(:“
