I would order these again in a heartbeat- Pistachio Waffle Stick (4/5)The pistachio topping, pistachio butter, and white chocolate drizzle made for a highly memorable combination of toppings. I would like to bottle up the pistachio butter they use. For takeout, the waffle did get soggy - somewhat like the bottom of an ice cream cone, and somewhat like choux pastry that's been sotting around. I prefer a fresh, crispy waffle component but this is the price you pay for takeout vs dining in store and having it fresh. Besides the waffle itself. This was a 5/5.“
“My family and I love love love Kubo. Since they opened, we def try to come here any time were in the area. My fave fave fave is the Ube Soft Serve with Taiyaki and boba. Their soft serve is just so creamy and flavorful. I haven't tried everything on their menu yet, but I def plan to. “I came here Thursday morning and the young lady working there Juliana greeted my family and I with a nice welcome smiled. She helped each and one of us and took her time. The customer service was amazing as well with the gelatos. Definitely recommend coming here on Thursday mornings where there is no lines. “This place is an experience! We've been coming here as a family since the 1960s and now it's just tradition. Long before the Sopranos filmed here we were enjoying homemade ice cream, burgers, grilled cheeses, and turkey sandwiches. This is old-school, old vibes, but good food. The service has never been stellar but they do try. If you're in the neighborhood I highly recommend coming. Parking is on the street.“

“Always such a delight to eat at Friendly’s considering how many they closed up. Never go wrong with a Patty Melt( it was taken off the menu for a while but happy to see it back) , a fishamajig melt, or a BBQ tenders melt. Then to finish off with a sundae with the best peanut butter sauce . Our server Harvey is always the greatest . We only visit a few times a year but always remembers us and greets us with such enthusiasm. Highly recommended !“

“I selfishly want to keep this place a little secret, but I know it's not right to do and so I must share my thoughts and quick review so that you may enjoy it too. My go-to coffee is usually black and nothing else. Instead I opted to try their "Hot Chai latte"and a choice of oat milk, half/half and milk and other options. I went with the half/half and It was absolutely delicious. Groundwork's Cafe is just the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself with their many food and drink options. The energy and vibe is exactly what I like to surround myself in. The cafe is extremely clean all around!!!! The staff members are beyond friendly and welcoming. There's off street meter parking and town meter parking lots within a short walking distance. What I ordered: Hot chai latte Chicken Colombian empanadas A small cup of Tomato Soup I LOVED IT ALL! My NEW FAVORITE PLACE and I'm looking forward to going back.“

Shorter wait, faster service, and you wait in a conditioned space to avoid summer heat and winter cold. Also, you get to see each of the flavors before you order. Here, you just go by the list and hope you picked right. So call me spoiled, because I live next to the best ice cream in North Jersey and here is only second best. But the noise of Route 23 and nowhere to really sit and enjoy yourself - it gets to me. 5 star ice cream if you're taking out, but don't even think about eating in. Oh, and don't order Italian ice. “I go here during any season in a way to share something special with my wife and kids. It's always well stocked and the staff is nice and willing to help so the kids don't go crazy. They give samples too. There is only outside seating and sometimes there's a little mess there, so we try to always clean up after ourselves. Absolutely delicious & refreshing, though I notice Rita’s ices melt considerably quicker than CJ’s & Ralph’s in Staten Island.The service is quick & efficient though the girls who work there tend to have a habit of slamming the window in your face once the transaction is completed, not giving the customer an opportunity to say “thank you.”One cool thing about this specific Rita’s is Holsten’s across the street, where the final scene of the last episode of the Sopranos was filmed.
