Excellent affogato milkshake
We ordered my son’s birthday cake from SOMA Sweets about a month ago, and the entire experience exceeded expectations. Steve managed to bring my 5-year-old’s very specific “Venom cake” vision to life on short notice, and it came out better than we imagined.
He also partnered with another great local business, Bakes By Izzy, to make it happen. The cake looked incredible and tasted even better.

SOMA Sweets is a charming ice cream and candy shop that offers a warm, welcoming experience for all. The space is bright, fun, and full of sweet details, making it perfect for kids’ celebrations. The staff is incredibly nice, patient, and genuine, going above and beyond to ensure every child feels included. The sweets and ice cream are absolutely delicious, with a rotating list of speciality flavors, classic options, and a good selection of Dairy free ice cream. The candy selection is amazing, and the pricing is fair. For birthday parties, the team transforms the room with decorations, hosts age-appropriate creative craft activities, and offers optional add-ons like fairy hair. They even coordinated pizza delivery from a local shop. Kids enjoy choosing their own ice cream and making fun sundaes. The owners are very responsive during planning and share creative ideas. The store has a friendly vibe in the seating area, and the staff is honest and attentive. SOMA Sweets is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, offering a unique, joyful, and well-organized place to host a party or simply enjoy high quality treats.
