“Moved to South Orange less than 2 years ago and this has become our go-to local Italian place. Husband and I love it for date nights. Everything we’ve tried on the menu has been awesome and you can’t beat the family-owned and ran service. Anthony (son of Giorgio) is just the kindest and the best, always making sure everyone has what they need and helping however he can. Great food + kind, hard working people + BYO policy = the best. Also love the recent upgrades!!”

“Delicious little place in town. It's hard to say what was better. The food or the coffee. If you're in the area definitely come here for some coffee or breakfast and you won't be disappointed.Parking: It's near the transit stop so parking can be difficult at times.”

“I never leave reviews but I have Ubereats from this restaurant about 10 times. It LEGIT IS 10/10 every single item has never missed perfection. I am mindblown how amazing their items are and I tell all my coworkers about it. Excited to visit this place in person some time”

“5 stars! Celebrated and hosted our daughter’s baptism here and our guests are still talking about it til this day! Food was great, atmosphere was beautiful and Mary was so helpful and friendly and made planning a piece of cake. I hope to dine here soon.”

“Good food, innovative menu but needs some improvements. Firstly I would request them to check salt levels especially in roasted vegetables and also their blackened mahi came out over cooked. Secondly their seating is very uncomfortable. The tables are too high even for normal size adults for the sofa/bench against the walls and too tight. That said highly recommend trying out - they have great pizza, servers are warm and friendly, the desserts especially brownie with ice cream are awesome.”

“I come to Y.U.P.P. just about every week and I have to say it’s one of my favorite places. The food is excellent, the drinks are great, and the staff is always very welcoming.My favorites are the YUPP Curry Chicken, Hearty Beef, and the Spicy Oxtail. I’m always on the go so this is the perfect lunch time meal to have. If you want an excellent patty and you want to hear some great music or even play PAC Man while you wait I highly recommend checking out YUPP! I also frequent both locations and I look forward to seeing the next location open.”

“Stopped by this local dot because I was HUNGRY! Lol. Also needed to get something before heading to my next appointment. I walked in and although the place was empty, the employee at the front was patient, helpful and friendly. I liked the decor and cleanliness of the establishment. You could tell they worked hard to keep this casual spot warm and inviting. Down to the flower vases on each table. I ordered the pupusa and chicken tacos. The food was flavorful and ingredients fresh. Even the radishes and cucumbers as garnish was fresh. I'll be back again. I love finding local spots with great food! Let me know if you have any to recommend.”

“The food always tastes good. The people who work here are so sweet and kind. I lost my card and they took their time to call me and make sure they were giving the card to the right person. They were too kind. I tried to give a tip for helping me out alot and she refused. The service is great and I reccomend anyone to come here. “Love the service and food! Our son is a New Mexican food fan so we will be back!! There was a live musician there. He started at 7pm and was a bit loud for us - I’m sure the volume was better in the dining room as opposed to the bar dining where we were. “Multi layered sandwiches built with quality ingredients and fresh thin sliced rye bread. Homemade daily soups and baked goods. The secret frozen homemade soups are great care packages for college kids and under the weather friends. Tons of window seats in downtown South Orange, NJ make for the perfect lunch spot.”

“So excited to find a real Costa Rican breakfast here!!! I lived in Costa Rica for five years, and this is the real deal. Gallo pinto, eggs, fried plantains, queso... Sooo good. Service was good, portions were generous, people were friendly, and the restaurant has incredible murals and some great Costa Rica decor. Five stars, will be back!”
