“Get the yucca fries! They are so yummy and the green sauce is amazing. Everything we’ve order from the place is delicious, but I especially love the carnitas sandwich. The chef was so kind and shared a slice of their new chocolate/dulce cake with us and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this spot!”

“Felix is the man and the smoothie and smoothie bowls are always a delicious and healthy bang for your buck, but having had the Spicy Squash and Chicken Noodle Soup, I can safely say this is my favorite spot to grab something tasty and healthy and worth the money, the soup is sooooooo good. I walked it while he was prepping another batch of the squash soup. And it smelled soooooooo oooo o good. The picture of my soup doesn’t do it justice as I’ve eaten the chicken out of it and now I’m sipping on the broth which has the slightest kick to it. I’m obsessed. I encourage everyone to support this place and get something delicious while you are at it!!!!!!”

“Are you looking for fresh, homemade pasta? This is your place. I had the chicken ragu over campanelle. It was so light and delicious. The ragu tasted like it was cooked for hours, chicken and carrot pieces in every bite. The rosemary Focaccia, was like I made it myself, light and fluffy with just the right amount of everything!
We ended are visit with some pretty amazing homemade choc chip cookie gelato sandwiches rolled in Oreo. Wow!
You can order and sit at bar, outside tables, or grab yours to go. Porta Rossa Pasta has so many homemade sauces and fresh delectables you have to check it out. Don't miss this little gem, hidden in Maplewood, NJ.”

“Tracy was out waiter. She was fantastic. She gave us the history of the restaurant and made some great suggestions. I'm not a huge guac fan but the tuna tartare with that layer of guac on top was fantastic. The steak frites were excellent. My husband had the dry aged burger, it was juicy and tasty. It was our first time there but it certainly won't be our last.”

“Not our first visit to Lorena's - this location and previous...No reservation, walk-in last Sunday afternoon. Comfortable bar seating; cozy atmosphere. Solid pour drinks with terrific appetizer dining. Salmon tartare and the best French Onion soup....finished off with a great Au Poivre Burger...Many thanks....topped off a beautiful weekend.”

“Stopped in for an appetizer and a beer before heading home for the day. We arrived after they opened at 4 and there were a few people already there. The bartender was super friendly. We ordered some local beers (good variety on tap) $10 a beer, and an order of the bang bang shrimp. I am still thinking about them.....for $18 there was a good amount of shrimp, the sauce was perfect and the crispiness of the shrimp was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back for the shrimp and will stay for dinner this time. They have two floors of outdoor seating as well which is blocked from the main road.”

“Yes. We need brewery spots w open space and laid back vibe near the restaurants we love (Artie’s, Perla, etc).

Good selection, easy to get beer, and nice seating. Wish they had more Belgian style ales but everyone can be a critic and have their wishlist.

I hope they do well. If they do too well, I hope the investment is made in more seating, speed of service, etc. if there’s a truffle pommel frites machine there, it will clean house. In the meantime appreciate the BYOF policy”

“We eat here almost every day. The food is always made to order so it does take a few miinutes. The food is delicious, I have never had anything I did not enjoy. Mr. C is always making sure we are happy with what he has prepared for us. Sometimes he will add his own little touch once he gets to know you and what you like. He will make great suggestions if you are not sure what you would like. The girls at the counter are great! This is a small hidden gem!”

“The cookie cake was moist and soft-perfect for a birthday celebration and you can add a custom happy birthday message on the cake by request.

Oreo cookies and oreo Brownies were great oarty treats. Peach cobler and Banana pudding flavors were standouts as well. Promt communication and clear instructions for pick-up as well. Would recommend for any party or event where you want cookies/brownies etc.”

“First time at Artie's since the move and name change from Arturo's in the village. The new place is big and modern with a warehouse vibe similar to Porta's in Asbury park. The pizza is amazing the crust has a little more tooth than a typical wood fired style you can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients at first bite. Will definitely return.”

“Roman Gourmet has been around a long time and they have delicious pizza and other Italian specialties. When you come here for pizza, it's as if you walked into a time warp - the pizzeria looks like it's from another time, but they have amazing service and always with a smile. If you order a pizza to go, you know it'll be ready within 30 minutes, not like some of the other pizzerias in the area. A great place!”
