“We were in the area and stopped in for the first time on Saturday night after our x-mas pictures and I am so glad we did. We dined upstairs, they had music which is something they are planning to do on occasions throughout the winter. The owners are incredibly nice, our waitress was so sweet & super attentive. We just had a casual dinner with great drinks, wings and their specialty pizzas, all fantastic! My 6 year old son said they make the best wings & Shirley temples. My husband and I can't wait to have a date night soon and check out there downstairs bar area as well! If you are in the area definitely check it out!“

“True Salvage Cafe is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast in the area. Food: The food is wonderful; they source Balthazar Bakery and Croissants, and everything else is baked/made in cafe by the owner/chef. The bread puddings, especially, are extremely good; I always make sure to grab one to go to have later in the day! Decor and Ambience: the store has on display a large selection of vinyls and books, and often plays an eclectic mix of old and new stores, all bops and jams. Service: In addition to their stellar food, the service here is top tier as well. The person who works here, Silver (I believe, sorry if I got your name wrong!) is very attentive as well as empathetic. On a recent visit, another table had accidentally knocked over one of their hot drinks; Silver immediately came out and brought over paper towels and even replaced their their drink. All in all, I can see why this place is a gem that is adored by everyone from high schoolers to adults.“

“Superb customer service. Atmosphere is family friendly. Meghan the manager is an exceptional human. She understands her assignment ! The food came out relatively soon; but not soon enough for my daughter because we came in super hungry and my daughter must have had a very hungry monster in her belly because she began to tear from waiting. Unfortunately, the pizza came back a bit more brown than we'd like. They gracefully took it back for a new one. Meghan took notice of my daughter's face and immediately came and offered her a few slices while we waited for the new pie. Overall, we left happy, full and satisfied Thank you again Meghan for saving my daughter from her hungry belly!“

“Update to my previous review. While it was certainly frustrating, the owner, Vinnie, called me several times afterwards to make things right. He apologized, took ownership, and was genuine. I couldn't ask for much more. I plan to order from them again given Vinnie's hands-on approach and personal touch. Their sandwiches were actually also very tasty (we got a mixed platter).“

“My husband and I dined in here for lunch and wow! The food was amazing, truly. The service was quick and pleasant. The portion size was so large, that we were able to pack what we didn’t eat to go and have it for dinner that evening and be as full as we were in the restaurant when we couldn’t finish our food ?. That salad was so delicious ? the decor is simple, but really nice. I love the photographs and art on the walls and the the tan mats the food is served on contrasted with the white tablecloths. I also love the exposed wooden beams in the ceiling. It’s a nice restaurant, highly recommend checking it out!Parking: If you can’t snag street parking, there is a parking lot on the next block behind the building. I’m not 100% sure if it’s free, but we went on a Saturday afternoon and did not have to pay if that helps.“
