But tonight, after slice/uber eats screwed up my order, Sabatino himself came and delivered my food and won my loyalty forever! “I eat at Maplewood Pizzeria occasionally. My food is always good and service has always been friendly. Last week, my job order zeppole from there, but they gave the wrong time for pickup. The event would have started before the pick-up time. We'll, I went there and explained the situation to the young man behind the counter. He told me he would start the order for me, and I had two pans of freshly made zeppole in 20 minutes. They were delicious. The service was impeccable and above and beyond anything that we could have hoped. BTW, the zeppoles were delicious, and the trays were overflowing. They were delicious, and everyone asked where we purchased them. Maplewood Pizzeria saved the day.“

“My husband and I dined here for a day-after Valentine's celebration. Our 7:00 reservation allowed us to be seated right away. The playlist was stellar. It was all the music I grew up listening to as a kid, and it made me feel at home. McKenzie was our server and she was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. The menu has so many great choices, but the specials shouldn't be slept on either! Here's what we had: Appetizers: -Brussels sprouts salad with sliced apple, marinated feta, roasted squash, candied pecans, quinoa and tossed in a vinaigrette - Kabocha squash ravioli in a braised beef and peanut ragu, crispy eggplant and a peanut-green bean crumble. Entrées: -Flat iron steak in a mustard-sherry au poive sauce, carmelized onions, and potato churritos -Fresh cavatelli in an escargot sauce, shelled escargot, topped with a parsley butter crumb - Side of sautéed wild mushrooms with sage and citrus Dessert: -Orange and cardamom olive oil cake, assorted coffee and tea. The food was stunning. Every bite was a hit and truly made with love. Such thoughtful flavor combinations and interesting applications, all the while cooked perfectly. We had the opportunity to speak with Beverly, and we learned so much about her passions for the industry and the pride she has for the products she creates. “Shirley was a great server. The food was delicious. Ordered the full rack of ribs and substituted the fries with a loaded baked potato. Had the skillet chocolate chip cookie. That presentation was not in a skillet. So I was little disappointed but it was still pretty good.“

“This place is located adjacent to Penn Station Newark, right across the street, and can be accessed through an above ground gateway (so you are completely under cover for the entire journey). So, the location is prime if you are in need of waiting for a train. There are seating areas in the restaurant ... as well as a lobby area just a few feet away. And it is relatively quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of the train station.

On to the food ... quite good. I went for the Chicken Gyro. I happen to get it as it was freshly carved off the spit. Yum! I paired it with some fries and a soda. Exactly what I wanted. And then, as mentioned previously, a comfortable place to sit and wait for my train.“

We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) “I went there with my wife this evening and it was a great experience. We had delivery a couple of times, but eating at the restaurant was so much better. We were greeted with a big smile by Demi and she took great care of us. We had the large Meze appetizer and the small Mixed Grill and it was perfect. We had plenty to take home for Super Bowl snacks. We had a nice chat with Demi and she gave us a complimentary dessert of their homemade ice cream. The flavors were baklava and walnut. They were delicious. I highly recommend eating there. “Service and every dishes other than sushi was great! However, I really have to give the sushi rice they used and sushi selection limitation a comment because the rice used is not for sushi. Fish is really fresh, but rice is hard to chew or swallow. And selection for sushi is quite limited. The old menu they have has scallop and squid, none of that is actually selling any more. There’s basic fish sushi and all types of rolls tho which is nice, but rice really makes me hard to enjoy them. Despite all that, ither food choice is various from cold dish to hot fried rice to fruits and dessert. In general it is worth to try“

“We enjoyed a gorgeous dinner at La Rocca Osteria, on the corner of Midland Avenue and Portland Place (a block south-east of Valley Road and a block north-east of Bloomfield Avenue), this week. The food was brilliant - fresh, flavorful and great portion sizes. I was thrilled with my choices of the buratta salad, crabmeat-stuffed lobster tail with mashed potatoes and a chocolate mousse cake. My fella demolished the mussels and clams in a white wine and garlic sauce, lasagne (he thought it was so delicious that he even bought a second portion to give to his dad) and cheesecake. I almost wish I’d taken photographs, but I was more interested in the experience than documenting it. The service was fantastic as well - friendly, calm, organized and reliable. Parking nearby wasn’t difficult either. It’s the second time we’ve eaten there; the first was on our first date. It was just as lovely then too.“
