“Excellent food and outstanding staff. Our server was Jen and she couldn’t have been nicer. My nephew, Max Clayton, is performing in White Christmas at the Papermill. We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) They were just as nice when we came back after the play just to sit and have drinks. I feel like they went out of their way to accommodate us and we are all most appreciative. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“My husband and I dined here for a day-after Valentine's celebration. Our 7:00 reservation allowed us to be seated right away. The playlist was stellar. It was all the music I grew up listening to as a kid, and it made me feel at home. McKenzie was our server and she was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. The menu has so many great choices, but the specials shouldn't be slept on either! Here's what we had: Appetizers: -Brussels sprouts salad with sliced apple, marinated feta, roasted squash, candied pecans, quinoa and tossed in a vinaigrette - Kabocha squash ravioli in a braised beef and peanut ragu, crispy eggplant and a peanut-green bean crumble. Entrées: -Flat iron steak in a mustard-sherry au poive sauce, carmelized onions, and potato churritos -Fresh cavatelli in an escargot sauce, shelled escargot, topped with a parsley butter crumb - Side of sautéed wild mushrooms with sage and citrus Dessert: -Orange and cardamom olive oil cake, assorted coffee and tea. The food was stunning. Every bite was a hit and truly made with love. Such thoughtful flavor combinations and interesting applications, all the while cooked perfectly. We had the opportunity to speak with Beverly, and we learned so much about her passions for the industry and the pride she has for the products she creates. And then we had complementary Turkish tea and we all had desserts which were absolutely delicious someone with a sweet tooth would love. “The Great Wazu is the reason small businesses are the HEART of a community. I am a soon-to-be small business owner myself. I walked in this place tonight like I do every 1-2 weeks to get dinner. Sara behind the counter has gotten to know me and ALWAYS remembers my order. Tonight, she asked me what was new, and I told her I had been upset all day worrying about all the stuff I have on my plate right now getting my business ready to open. She was the sweetest. When I reached for my credit card, she told me my order was on her and gave me a hug and said, "You got this." Seafood Linguine in Garlic Sauce, steamed clams, mussels, grilled salmon, and lobster tails with crabmeat stuffing (seasonal). If you don't see something on the menu that piques your interest, just ask your server if they can prepare it for you. “Great experience at CAVA, in Springfield, NJ. The facility was exceptionally clean, and every employee was welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. The manager, Engel has built an outstanding team. He’s doing a fantastic job leading by example creating a positive environment. Remy and Preston super nice line members. Esther the cashier greeted me with such a calm and welcoming smile reminded me what great Customer Service is supposed to look like. I also have visited the Bridgewater location and unfortunately, it has a lot of room for improvement. “Mama Rao’s kitchen has been catering all of our main home events last few years and we get nothing but raves from all of our family and friends over the food. They just did our Easter for twenty eight people, everyone loved the ham and eggplant rollitini and I am a big fan of their meatballs and sausage in their homemade gravy. “We enjoyed a gorgeous dinner at La Rocca Osteria, on the corner of Midland Avenue and Portland Place (a block south-east of Valley Road and a block north-east of Bloomfield Avenue), this week. The food was brilliant - fresh, flavorful and great portion sizes. I was thrilled with my choices of the buratta salad, crabmeat-stuffed lobster tail with mashed potatoes and a chocolate mousse cake. My fella demolished the mussels and clams in a white wine and garlic sauce, lasagne (he thought it was so delicious that he even bought a second portion to give to his dad) and cheesecake. I almost wish I’d taken photographs, but I was more interested in the experience than documenting it. The service was fantastic as well - friendly, calm, organized and reliable. Parking nearby wasn’t difficult either. It’s the second time we’ve eaten there; the first was on our first date. It was just as lovely then too.“

“The female manager was very nasty to two employees when I was there. She told one of them loud enough for everyone inside the restaurant to hear that he had two strikes and she would send him home and then turned to another worker and said that she was going home too. Wtf, the food was good but that woman needs to go back to the handbook and look at how to speak to employees when patrons are around. I was very uncomfortable and not sure I’ll be back. That is not the way to treat others.“
