Over the years, we've celebrated countless Girls' night-out birthdays here, and it never disappoints. From the moment you arrive until the time you leave, every detail is perfect. Greg, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and attentive; he treats us like family. Keeps our wine glasses full, and ensures we feel valued while also attending to other valued guests. The menu offers a wonderful, wide variety of fresh and expertly cooked seafood, seafood boils, grilled steaks, salads, soups, OMG lobster mac & cheese, burgers, tacos, and scrumptious desserts! You can BYOB; however, their wine selection is impressive as well. Generous portions, secure parking, and impeccably clean restrooms. Servers are always friendly and accommodating, happily fulfilling special requests. Nice music and occasional live entertainment enhance the experience. The Millburn, NJ, location is equally fantastic! We always start with our favorite Arugula salad - generous portions. House salad, also incredible! We adore Garlic Old Bay Shrimp appetizers, fried calamari, crab cakes, BUTTERY lobster rolls, OMG!. For our entrées, we couldn't resist going all in! Seafood Linguine in Garlic Sauce, steamed clams, mussels, grilled salmon, and lobster tails with crabmeat stuffing (seasonal). If you don't see something on the menu that piques your interest, just ask your server if they can prepare it for you. What impresses me most is Greg's attention to detail, passion, and creativity in delivering exceptional, high-quality food, ensuring each guest feels welcome and appreciated. “My husband and I dined here for a day-after Valentine's celebration. Our 7:00 reservation allowed us to be seated right away. The playlist was stellar. It was all the music I grew up listening to as a kid, and it made me feel at home. McKenzie was our server and she was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. The menu has so many great choices, but the specials shouldn't be slept on either! Here's what we had: Appetizers: -Brussels sprouts salad with sliced apple, marinated feta, roasted squash, candied pecans, quinoa and tossed in a vinaigrette - Kabocha squash ravioli in a braised beef and peanut ragu, crispy eggplant and a peanut-green bean crumble. Entrées: -Flat iron steak in a mustard-sherry au poive sauce, carmelized onions, and potato churritos -Fresh cavatelli in an escargot sauce, shelled escargot, topped with a parsley butter crumb - Side of sautéed wild mushrooms with sage and citrus Dessert: -Orange and cardamom olive oil cake, assorted coffee and tea. “We enjoyed a gorgeous dinner at La Rocca Osteria, on the corner of Midland Avenue and Portland Place (a block south-east of Valley Road and a block north-east of Bloomfield Avenue), this week. The food was brilliant - fresh, flavorful and great portion sizes. I was thrilled with my choices of the buratta salad, crabmeat-stuffed lobster tail with mashed potatoes and a chocolate mousse cake. My fella demolished the mussels and clams in a white wine and garlic sauce, lasagne (he thought it was so delicious that he even bought a second portion to give to his dad) and cheesecake. I almost wish I’d taken photographs, but I was more interested in the experience than documenting it. The service was fantastic as well - friendly, calm, organized and reliable. Parking nearby wasn’t difficult either. It’s the second time we’ve eaten there; the first was on our first date. It was just as lovely then too.“

“The female manager was very nasty to two employees when I was there. She told one of them loud enough for everyone inside the restaurant to hear that he had two strikes and she would send him home and then turned to another worker and said that she was going home too. Wtf, the food was good but that woman needs to go back to the handbook and look at how to speak to employees when patrons are around. I was very uncomfortable and not sure I’ll be back. That is not the way to treat others.“

“I love this place because every one is so welcoming. One thing though they need to better season their cutlet and maybe make them a bit thinner so they don’t dry out. They’re a bit thick and flavorless. The steak sandwich I had I really liked though“

“I was in the area with my daughter and we found Green Chop’s. We decided to try it because it looked delicious and healthy. My daughter (6) ordered the chicken noodle soup and she loved it, ate the whole thing! And I got the House Special salad, super delicious packed with veggies, chicken and a very good dressing. I highly recommend this place and will visit again when I’m in the area“
