“My wife and I walked into LK for the first time and the hostess greeted us and said "sit anywhere you'd like".....what restaurant ever says that, we were hooked right away. We both shared a caesar salad, it was delicious. My wife ordered pasta with sausage. That too was delicious, I had the pasta with cherry tomatoes and crab meat, absolutely delicious. When our order came, we immediately got fresh pepper and before I could even ask for fresh cheese, a gentleman was waiting behind me with the cheese. I mean, c'mon the place has a great food, great service and a nice chill atmosphere. I think we just found our go-to restaurant.“

“The lobster bisque in a bread bowl was delicious. I don't know where they get their bread bowls but mine was perfect. Warm and crusty on the outside but soft and yummy on the inside.The mocktails are new since our last visit and the mojito was the best I've had so far at a restaurant. I also had the kale caesar salad with blackened grouper which I really enjoyed.“

My husband and I were thrilled to finally get a chance to checkout the most romantic newly reopened dinner spot in Montclair, NJ, Gioia Mia.As soon as we arrived our table was ready and we nestled into a corner spot in the back dining room. Our server immediately brought water and opened our own BYOB red wine. We had been watching for the seasonal winter menu for weeks. We knew right away we wanted the Tuna Tartare, Crab Tortellini, the Heritage Porkchop, and the Hanger Steak with a side of crispy maple brussels sprouts.Incredible!!!!“

“Impressed!! The inside of this cafe is clean, aesthetic, and perfect for any visitor. They offer fresh delicious quality food and coffee at a reasonable price. I ordered the maple coffee, it has the perfect balance of sweetnesses and coffee. The chicken noodle soup tasted rich and delicious served with crackers and bread! The chicken fry was huge. It was $12 and did not come with any sides but you don’t need it! It comes with a huge piece of breaded chicken on a Portuguese style roll with amazing sauces. Super filling but not heavy at all!! The BLTA was fresh, light, flavorful, and delightful, I recommend!! You just walk up to the counter, order your food, grab your number, and sit while you wait shortly. This is a great option in Upper Montclair, one of favorite visits! They have an extensive menu and its options to please everyone at a great price!“

“I visited Just Jake’s on a Friday evening for a live band performance and had a good time. There are no waiters, tables or chairs, just a big dance floor near the stage and a bar so everybody was dancing and having fun. There was a $8 cover charge and the price of the drinks were reasonable. Staff was friendly and it was easy and quick to get drinks.“
