“This place is unbelievable!!! My husband and i went for a quick lunch date and man, our only regret is that we hadn't tried it sooner. We got a salad, broccoli rabe, and the classic pizza to share. Everything was amazing. The pizza was like being back in Italy. We also got the nutella desert which should be illegal. Cannot wait to try our way through the menus. So happy to have this wonderful spot in the neighborhood.“
“My wife and I walked into LK for the first time and the hostess greeted us and said "sit anywhere you'd like".....what restaurant ever says that, we were hooked right away. We both shared a caesar salad, it was delicious. My wife ordered pasta with sausage. That too was delicious, I had the pasta with cherry tomatoes and crab meat, absolutely delicious. When our order came, we immediately got fresh pepper and before I could even ask for fresh cheese, a gentleman was waiting behind me with the cheese. I mean, c'mon the place has a great food, great service and a nice chill atmosphere. I think we just found our go-to restaurant.“

“The perfect date night! My husband and I were thrilled to finally get a chance to checkout the most romantic newly reopened dinner spot in Montclair, NJ, Gioia Mia.As soon as we arrived our table was ready and we nestled into a corner spot in the back dining room. Our server immediately brought water and opened our own BYOB red wine. We had been watching for the seasonal winter menu for weeks. We knew right away we wanted the Tuna Tartare, Crab Tortellini, the Heritage Porkchop, and the Hanger Steak with a side of crispy maple brussels sprouts.Incredible!!!!“
“Had a great lunch experience as soon as I walked through the door! This beautiful, and comfortable resturant is located middle of a quite neighborhood. Ana was our server and took good care of us!Food and dessert was cooked to perfection! You must try the Calamari with Balsamic as your appetizer! Also their caprese salad was that best I ever had! For my main, I had one of the amazing specials, the Blackened Salman with Shrimp Risotto!! And for desert a well Creme Brulee. The ambiance is very grounding with light jazz and goregous stone walls! The food was great and the booth seats were so comfortable, I didn't want to leave...so i'll definitely be back!P.s. It's Byob wine!“
“The food is out of this world!! Service and management are very welcoming.. we ordered lots of food and desserts! The is so bucco and pork shop special is out of this world! Such warm comfort food.. I will definitely be going back especially for those desserts!“
“Do I feel like I'm "stepping out" on Belgiovine's when I'm in Montclair but decide to come here instead? (I do.) But it'll only take one visit for you to be a true believer as well. It's small. You walk in and aside from the squad of friendly workers at both main counters you'll first encounter the amazing breads (and treats). All the shapes, styles and sizes your carb-loving heart desires will be found on one of these racks. Expertly made... dense, sturdy, flavorful, with a mighty crust (that'll give your Fixodent a workout!). Take a few steps towards the 'back' and now you're at the deli and it's overflowing with options. Each item looks bewitching and alluring and before you can even finish saying, "A pound of..." - somehow it's already sliced and bagged and the guy is waiting on the next item you need. (Maybe it's that luscious square of eggplant parm that they've intentionally left "posed" on top of the spatula or the Italian hot dog platter or that mountain of sauteed broccoli rabe that you know it's going to have that perfect 'bite'.) And as soon as you get home you immediately start crafting what's to be a most perfect sandwich with their seeded semolina, fresh ball of mootz (so creamy and delectable), and a few other odds-and-ends you snagged. Thank goodness this town is big enough for more than one amazing Italian deli and I don't have to pick which is my all-time fave.“
“Tino’s has fast become our favorite pizzeria. Our young children always shout “Tino’s!” if I ask whether they want pizza for dinner. The pizzas are always great. We usually do pick up and eat at home but some times we go in to dine. The service is always great. Oh and for Valentines I asked if they could make a heart shaped pizza - it wasn’t advertised but I knew of another pizzeria doing it but didn’t want to go to another pizzeria. So I called and asked and they said we could request for one when we placed the order. We ordered two pizzas and one turned out better than the other but it didn’t matter. Our kids got a kick out of seeing a heart shaped pizza when they opened the box on Valentine’s Day.Highly recommend this place.“
“Had dinner here last night. Delicious, innovative menu. Try the crispy duck crostini, duck fat patatas bravado. Everything we had was great. And our server, Melissa, could not have been more helpful.Highly recommended (as are, reservations - this place is popular and gets busy). And, it’s BYOB!“
“Better Life Recovery in Caldwell LOVES Sparo's Deli! We order from here at least once a week and the staff and food are UNBELIEVABLE. Even though they are almost always busy (because their food is that good), the staff is always hustling with cheerful demeanor to take care of their customers. We will always come to Sparos and recommend you do too!“
“My sister and I went here for lunch. It was phenomenal. We both had specials. I had thr mafaldine pasta with pork, broccoli rabe and Parmigiano reggiano, and my sister ordered a panino which was fried eggplant, olive-sundried tomato tapenade, parmesan shavings and spinach cress. Both were phenomenal. We ended up just sharing both dishes. We loved it so much, we ordered food to go for our families. It's a bit small in size. We got here right at 12 when they open, and within 10 minutes, they were full.“
“Why did it take us so long to find this gem! Amazing everything! We had Fazzoletti with sage & butter sauce, South African lobster tail with veggies and mashed potatoes and pasta with seafood. And the dessert was when I thought to take a pic lol. Carlos was the best! All service staff were excellent! Will absolutely be back ??“
“We decided to try this place since we pass it all the time and it's the exact same distance from us as Mario's in Clifton, which has been a long-time go-to for us. The pizza here is fresh and DELICIOUS (and the crust - A+++), the service is timely and friendly, and you can tell it's a favorite local spot from all the people coming and going for pickups and deliveries. Some things to consider:- I've never had a pizza where they sprinkle garlic (chopped or maybe minced) on it by default - not even in Italy. That should not be a thing; the first time I ordered from there, I kept wondering why the taste was "off" and thankfully I ended up realizing it was the garlic since at first I wasn't going to order from them again. When I ordered subsequent times and told them not to sprinkle garlic on it, the taste was perfect.- They put a little more cheese on their pizza than I'm used to, so each slice is a bit "heavier" on the stomach. At first I thought they gave me extra cheese by mistake, but it wasn't.- It's definitely "Montclair pricing;" slightly more expensive than Mario's. However you are certainly getting what you pay for.All in all, I'd say it's worth checking out!“
“We hosted a luncheon here for about 90 people - a total buyout of the restaurant - and it was perfection. The menu was family style and the food was delicious, beautifully presented and the sharing made for a really fun, friendly vibe among all the guests. And the cocktails look beautiful and taste even better. The service was wonderful - lovely, professional and very accommodating. They have a wireless mic and sound system, so you’re all set if you need to make toasts or anything.Would highly recommend and absolutely plan to be back for another event, or just dinner.Rich and Moe were particularly great to work with, and made our party a huge success.“
“We had dinner tonight at Papperdellle. First time. Love everything about this place. Service was great. It was early the restaurant was one third full. About 25 diners. Had veal chop special, shrimp and sole oreganata, two apps. Will return. Not cheap, 130.00 for us plus tip. Worth the money.Try it you will like it.“
“*Belch* It was a stormy night. I couldn't see two feet in front of me. however, there was a light in the darkness...a sign...was it...from G-d? It must have been! for what my eyes saw, was the warm, welcoming sign of Mr. Dino. He welcomed me in as if I was one of his own. He put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Son, what can I get for you?"I said, "One margarita, one Grandma and one cup of root beer." He smiled and said, "coming right up."I waited for not even three minutes. *clears throat* My food and beverage were presented to me. I took a bite into the Grandma's slice first. What I felt, was a wave of emotion and flavor. I felt the warmth of my grandmother, who was passed away for many years. :(I washed down the memories with a nice refreshing sip of root beer. I bit into the margarita, and it made me feel like a boy getting a slice with my father again. After I finished my meal, I looked outside to see the sun was shining. I paid. I left. I'll never forget what you have done for me Mr. Dino. With love, JPSomewhat based on true events.Vegetarian options: It's pizza, Enter at your own risk.Kid-friendliness: 100%Parking: Get there...EARLY.Wheelchair accessibility: Yep.Dietary restrictions: Maybe? “The food is excellent, but the service is outstanding. They made my friends and I feel welcomed. The food portions were just right, as they don't have exaggerate to make that a gimmick. Although they don't serve wine, they knew a place nearby where we could purchase for our party. Overall, a wonderful experience.“
“Early dinner as we had to catch a show at the Wellmont. Amazing food especially the Appetizers! Great ambiance. Host Justin was super nice and accommodating. Our server was not very good. Took a very long time to take our drink orders and not attentive all evening. Restaurant wasn't busy at the time.“
“Ah’Pizz was great. Delicious food I hade the steak medium rare and it was phenomenal. Service could have been a little better and dividing attention to all their table because we did have to ask 3 times for my son’s dessert a simple cup of ice cream. All in all we’d done here many times over.“
“Love going to this place, service and food is always great. As a plus it’s also byob. Marlon is very attentive and makes you feel at home. I’m still to find something I don’t like, from the seafood risotto to the chicken parm to the mozzarella carozza everything is “
“this is a must go to place the Staff is very friendly excellent food and the price was reasonable. The last time I went I had the Hotsytopsy shrimp and the Sorrentina pizza. Excellent with a nice red wine oh, by the way you have to bring your own..Parking: Parking on the street is free after 6pm. There are two lots in the area require walking a block or two“
“It was my first time at leone’s and I definitely will be returning! From the food to the service & vibe. But truly my server made my experience that much better. She listened to all my crazy accommodations and found the perfect dish for me. I will most definitely bring the rest of my family and request Angel! She made my experience a 10/10“
“I was born and raised in Montclair 73 yrs. ago, lived on Forest St. I have been coming to this restaurant for years, even before Chris brought it from the original owner that had it (he and his brother worked there back then). To say the food is good is an understatement, it's fabulous. It's hard to find an Italian Pizzeria that knows sauce and how to make it, most places just dump tomatoe sauce in an pan without seasonings, not this place, all their products are fresh and are homemade. The raviolis, baked ziti and the other dishes are mountain sized and good, I should know as I worked in at least 5 pizza establishments in all my years. For the record I go there once a month and travel close to 75 miles to get there from there Pa. area. Best place around. Captain Jack“
“This place is fantastic!!! The pasta was to die for! The lamb pizza I’ve been thinking about since I’ve eaten it! The only hiccup was that they were short staffed in the kitchen so we were there for a very long time AND my husbands steak was over cooked. They did more than enough to make it right and were very apologetic. The place is very cute and homey inside. PLUS BYOB! We will be back again that’s for sure !“
