“I decided to try a sandwich from this restaurant for the first time. I just ordered a hot chicken cutlet sub and it was the best sandwich I have ever had!! The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the lettuce and tomato were extremely fresh, the bread was also freshly baked! The food is so clean which is the most important and the service was phenomenal. Sweet beautiful young girl rang me up, and that just elevated the entire experience. There are only 4 parking spots behind the Pizzeria..I wound up parking across the street and patronizing the Deli as well in the process. I didn't even get all the way inside the door and was greeted immediately with a Hello, Welcome and How are You. Service was excellent and the price point was excellent. A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. Really, the pizza has its own unique style and delivery. It all works. At one point, I thought maybe a little more sauce, since i am a big fan, but once it hits your taste Buds, you realize that it all works perfectly together and that's what makes it unique as a Grumpys Pizza. “I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place“
“Although we did not have reservations, the host/owner was very accommodating and welcoming. All staff members were friendly with open smiles. Foodwise, with kids, I was forced to order the plain margarita pizza but ordered the clam pasta and entree with eggplant and chicken (forgot the name). Since I ate the pizza when it was cooled, the dough was a bit tough. Perhaps I'll have to have it when it comes right out. All the pasta and entrees were good. I do recommend this place bc 1) owner and staff was wonderful, 2) food was better than your plain Jane Italian joints.“

“Almost hidden on a small street in Belleville, Me & Tommy's looks like someone's house from the outside. Once inside, you are immediately treated as a guest in a friend's home. We received such a warm welcome, that my husband asked if I knew the staff. That level of service continued throughout the entire meal. I can't remember the last time I experienced such outstanding service. The dining area is quite small, and they are busy all night. I would most definitely call for a reservation in advance. The atmosphere is lively and boisterous. Not meant for a quiet romantic evening. Kinda like a loud Sunday family dinner vibe. For food: Smothered Rice Balls in Vodka Sauce, Stuffed Cubanelle Peppers, Pasta Volognese, and Artichoke Chicken. For me, the Rice Balls were my favorite dish. Generously portioned, the rice balls are a cheesy carb delight. The famous vodka sauce was creamy and plentiful. Highly recommend. The Stuffed Peppers were two very large, beautiful cubanelles (my personal fav pepper). My husband loved the stuffing, while I did think it was a touch over seasoned. The Volognese- cross btw vodka and bolognese) was enormous! It does lean more to the bolognese, but was tasty nonetheless. My Chicken Artichoke special consisted of three chicken breasts with mozzarella and artichoke hearts in a white wine lemon sauce over linguine. This was a very tasty and satisfying dish, and -you guessed it- generous. We shared an Affogatto with Bailey's liqueur for dessert which was a perfect end to the meal. Even my espresso was delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. We took home enough left overs for another meal! We will most definitely return.“

“My wife and I walked into LK for the first time and the hostess greeted us and said "sit anywhere you'd like".....what restaurant ever says that, we were hooked right away. We both shared a caesar salad, it was delicious. My wife ordered pasta with sausage. That too was delicious, I had the pasta with cherry tomatoes and crab meat, absolutely delicious. When our order came, we immediately got fresh pepper and before I could even ask for fresh cheese, a gentleman was waiting behind me with the cheese. Being vegan, I called Prime Pizza to ask if their tomato sauce had cheese and was assured it was vegan. I mentioned pasta primavera, which is not on their menu, and was told to please come in, they would create something for us. Our big bowl of pasta had very generous portions of fresh broccoli, mushrooms and carrots. The sauce was flavorful and delicious and the veggies were perfect. It was just what we had hoped to find. “My friend Doug Eppel and I were in Lyndhurst so we decided to visit a place that I have heard great things about. Casa Giuseppe on Valley Brook Avenue. Cool little Italian Restaurant. An old-school Italian vibe and ambiance provided a very comfortable, relaxing dining atmosphere. Pristine and nicely decorated, it appeared to be a neighborhood favorite. The food and friendly and attentive service was exceptional. Thank you to our server, Nelson. After an ample, mouth water Burrata appetizer, served over arugula and fresh tomatoes, I ordered the Zuppa Di Pesce, a fantastic dish loaded with clams, mussels, calamari, scallops, shrimp, all served over linguine. Delicious! Dessert was a Pistachio Tartufo and a cappuccino, of course. Home run meal all around! I should mention that Casa Giuseppe is a BYOB. An unusual feature here is that despite it being a BYOB the restaurant is attached to Bar 503, from where you can order a drink to go with your meal if that is your preference. Bar 503 is a recommended destination in itself. A gorgeous, friendly little bar with a live DJ and karaoke (at least on our visit), and a place we had to stop in and have a Manhattan following our meal. Bartender, Frank, was also a wealth of knowledge and a great guy to talk to. BTW, Doug had the Chef's special, Shrimp & Scallops over Ink squid pasta in a vodka sauce. Magnificent fish!
