A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. At one point, I thought maybe a little more sauce, since i am a big fan, but once it hits your taste Buds, you realize that it all works perfectly together and that's what makes it unique as a Grumpys Pizza. “I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place“

“My friend Doug Eppel and I were in Lyndhurst so we decided to visit a place that I have heard great things about. Casa Giuseppe on Valley Brook Avenue. Cool little Italian Restaurant. An old-school Italian vibe and ambiance provided a very comfortable, relaxing dining atmosphere. Pristine and nicely decorated, it appeared to be a neighborhood favorite. The food and friendly and attentive service was exceptional. Thank you to our server, Nelson. After an ample, mouth water Burrata appetizer, served over arugula and fresh tomatoes, I ordered the Zuppa Di Pesce, a fantastic dish loaded with clams, mussels, calamari, scallops, shrimp, all served over linguine. Delicious! Dessert was a Pistachio Tartufo and a cappuccino, of course. Home run meal all around! I should mention that Casa Giuseppe is a BYOB. An unusual feature here is that despite it being a BYOB the restaurant is attached to Bar 503, from where you can order a drink to go with your meal if that is your preference. Bar 503 is a recommended destination in itself. A gorgeous, friendly little bar with a live DJ and karaoke (at least on our visit), and a place we had to stop in and have a Manhattan following our meal. Bartender, Frank, was also a wealth of knowledge and a great guy to talk to. BTW, Doug had the Chef's special, Shrimp & Scallops over Ink squid pasta in a vodka sauce. Magnificent fish!
