“Hands-down the best pizza I’ve had out of all the spots I’ve been to in NY/NJ. The crust is thin and crunchy, the tomato sauce is delicious and not too sweet (which many places these days seem to get wrong), and there is a perfect ratio of cheese. Each time I’ve been here, the proprietor is also always exceptionally friendly and nice. Highly recommend.“
“We frequently get food from here for dinner or for a party. The pizza is excellent; always cooked perfectly and fresh when we pick it up. We don’t live super close, but we make the drive for it. Parking isn’t the best, but that goes for most places around. Definitely recommend!“
“I love Bucco. The food is consistently great, seriously great. The atmosphere is cozy yet sophisticated. Warm and friendly service. Bucco is BYO but there is a liquor store nearby which delivers.Jenn, one of the owners, is always helpful with menu suggestions, special requests and great conversation. Do yourself a favor and book a table soon.“
“Sal Calabrese is a master pizza maker and the rest of the menu is awesome too. My favorite is the Sicilian Baked Ziti with eggplant. OMG:)All his ingredients are fresh and the portions are fantastic. I know my pizza folks and he's in the Top three for me. Nothing of my choices include the fast food chains. I feel like I'm having a meal cooked by Family. Sal always has a great smile and great jokes but also gives you a lot of history regarding the area. I'm a regular and even though I cook 80% of my meals at home, Sal is my go to guy when I don't feel like cooking. His other chef Julio and his mom are like family too. It's really cool to see his family stopping by for a meal. Reminds me of my trips to Italy where I only frequent mom and pop restaurants. He's open Super Bowl Sunday folks so put your orders in early. Tell them James sent you.Enjoy!!“
“Food was GREAT and the service was absolutely stellar. Love the look of the place, great for date night or night out with friends. We had focaccia, calamari, Franny's house salad, chicken parm, chicken Marsala and flounder. All winners. Drinks outstanding. The olive oil cake was lovely but not like Maialino's which I love. I would definitely return, did not disappoint!“
“Excellent options — both vegan and non-vegan. I've ordered several dishes here and I've never been disappointed. Generous portions (I can eat for a week thanks to the leftovers) and tasty as can be.Vegetarian options: Vegan BLT is excellent.“
“My 1st time ordering from here and the food was great!!! We had the Chicken Savoy with Mashed Potato & Broccoli, Parsley Garlic Knots, Spicy Vodka Pasta with Salmon and the Mafaldine E Fungi Truffle Pasta with Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Will definitely be ordering again!!“
“Comfortable pizza and sandwich place on Broad Street in Bloomfield. The lunch prices are the best I've seen, by far, in this area (see partial photo of menu). I ordered personal cheese pizza, and it was $6. Sandwiches start at $5.50. Larger pie just under $11. Pleasant dining area with about 15 tables, a counter, and large windows with a view to Broad Street. Pizza was above average with quality sauce, especially.“
“Great food and atmosphere the staff is very accommodating.... also they are very inclusive with their staffing. They also private parties and events my first time there was for someone earthly departure brunch as a way to get the whole family together one last time ...they cater to everyone beautifully everyone was happy and satisfied despite the reason for all of us being there. That was back in 2019 early December it was cold outside but the service provided made me feel so warm and cozy. P.S. Look out for some of the sweetest and attentive workers.“
