“My review is of an order for delivery, and I cannot comment on service or ambience. Calabrese has the best selection of Italian food I have seen in a local pizzeria. For example, I ordered veal saltimbocca, which is very hard to find locally, for half the price it would cost in a local restaurant, and it was delicious and had generous portions (it could easily serve two.) The hot antipasto was excellent, and could serve four. It was delivered in about an hour.“
“Can I just say WOW!!!! Been waiting to come here for quite some time, and it far surpassed every expectation I had!! Staff was lovely! Creative, DELICIOUS appetizers... We tried several, and seriously each one was SOOO GOOD!!! I'm a huge fan of Detroit style pizza, and it was cooked to perfection! Dessert was absolutely phenomenal as well! One of the best meals I've had in some time, from start to finish! They even had live music upstairs, which was such a nice surprise! Can't wait for our next trip back!!! “Hands-down the best pizza I’ve had out of all the spots I’ve been to in NY/NJ. The crust is thin and crunchy, the tomato sauce is delicious and not too sweet (which many places these days seem to get wrong), and there is a perfect ratio of cheese. Each time I’ve been here, the proprietor is also always exceptionally friendly and nice. Highly recommend.“
“OMG I just can’t describe how delicious their gluten free vegan pizza was! Just stumbled upon this place and ordered a white pizza with sausage (vegan). Good GF crust is hard to come by but this was top notch! Staff were super friendly too! They have GF vegan desserts too! What more could I ask for. “Comfortable pizza and sandwich place on Broad Street in Bloomfield. The lunch prices are the best I've seen, by far, in this area (see partial photo of menu). I ordered personal cheese pizza, and it was $6. Sandwiches start at $5.50. Larger pie just under $11. Pleasant dining area with about 15 tables, a counter, and large windows with a view to Broad Street. Pizza was above average with quality sauce, especially.“
