“Ok, I am going to try to review this place with an open mind. Let's start by saying it is different for sure. As we know NJ pizza is specific. Thin crust, nice under carrage, Italian basil and garlic sauce. Well, Roberto's is pizza with a spanish twist. The sauce is sweet, almost lime like. This place is NOT your traditional NJ pizza. You order from this pizza if you want different. Is it bad? Well not so much if you are spanish or want the taste of south american spanish, which now most of the Belleville population is, so this may work. I had the calamari fra diavlo. Nothing like I have ever had like before. Spicy, yet sweet. But I have to say most places around just add hot seeds and call it fra diavlo. So be that as it may. This is different, but not half bad.
The sweetness of their sauce takes an aquired taste. I will say the the penna chicket cutlet arribbiata was pretty darn good. If you are getting tired of the same NJ type pizza around Essex and Passaic counties. Maybe this will make you go hmmm.
We also tried the cracker crust pizza. More like a pizza on a flat soft taco, but it was ok. Different, but in a good way.
Definitely NOT your tradition Italian type pizza. 3-4 out of 5 star.

“We were visiting family close by the restaurant and my daughter highly recommended Brix. We went on Tuesday evening and really enjoyed the pizza and returned on Thursday for the Prime Rib. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic, and all in all would definitely return when we come to visit again.“
