“The food was OK! Just about the same flare & hoopla as Bloomfield Bagels. The only thing I enjoyed more was that the bacon was definitely delicious. Cooked just the way I liked it, and my sandwich had plenty. I just figured nowadays you would get more bang for your bucks, no, you don't. It seems that my egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich was all bread, 1 egg, 1 slice of cheese, and 2-3 strips of ?. For the price of the sandwich, I expected more. So I'll just stick to Bloomfield Bagels. The prices are a bit cheaper, and you get added condiments (salt, pepper, or ketchup).“

We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. We got 3 different meals and shared them so we could try a variety of things on our first visit.

The short rib hash was outstanding, the empanadas were to-die-for, but the thing that stuck out the most are the Philly rolls…the combination of flavors didn’t make any sense with the description, but wow, sooooo delicious!!!

And the owner is incredible!

“Great pastrami sandwiches. I also tried the corned beef but didn't enjoy it as much. Corn3d beef wasn't bad just not as special as the pastrami.

Definitely stick to the pastrami.

Make sure you give yourself time. The line is long and they take their time with every customer. Very slow moving but worth the wait.“

“Few places are as accommodating as the staff here. The menu, although on available digitally, is extensive. Large selection of GF (gluten free) items. You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. The place is small, the food tasty and seriously, the service is over the top.“

Holiday weekends in the city are usually quieter, so we went over early July 5th just in time before the line began. I have to say these are some of the best griddle cakes/pancakes I have ever tasted! I was curious about the no syrup sign on the counter. But truly it’s not needed. The classic order with eggs and sausage is just perfect. Salty and just a touch of sweetness. It’s a large plate so my husband and I split it. Just writing this I already want to go back! The beef was juicy, but a bit overcooked for my taste, but the rest of the bowl was very tasty! The Bulgogi bowl was outstanding! Meat was flavorful, but not overpowering like what bulgogi usually tends to be. Staff was very kind and inviting!“
