“My husband and I was craving some good authentic pizza and let me just say this place DID NOT disappoint. The owner and everyone that worked there was super nice which made me love it even more. I wanted my husband who’s from Baltimore to try zeppole, he’s never heard of it and for me, growing up in Bk and Staten Island it was one of my childhood favs. They didn’t have any made when I asked about it which was fine but while I was in conversation with their delivery driver the owner came out with some. He actually went out of his way to make me some zeppole, and it was delicious and extremely nostalgic for me. He has no idea how that made my day and brought back so many memories to me. Their food is delicious, atmosphere warm and friendly. I recommend this place and we will be back.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“The tacos were delicious! I especially recommend trying the Nopal Taco if you’ve never had cactus before,it was one of my favorites. The horchata was also really good; it’s a sweet drink made with rice and cinnamon, and definitely worth trying. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved very quickly. We only waited about 7–8 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience!“

“This place is amazing. We tried the fava bean hummus - bursting with flavor and garlic forward (which I enjoy). The steak and grits was so buttery and delicious as well. “After a cold and windy morning, not being able to get into one of the morning shows, we ran across this little restaurant by accident for brunch. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! The day couldn't have been any better. I can't wait to try one of his delicious Italian recipes this holiday season. I highly recommend the Little Owl. I certainly will be going back in the future!“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. “The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is chic and the food and drinks do not disappoint. The tuna appetizer and mixed oysters (east and west coast) were great. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. The wine list is extensive with many selections in style and region, and the cocktails are well balanced creations.“

“Spicy Village was a wonderful place to have a Christmas meal! Actually, I'd like to rename it "Spicy Cozy Village" if a spicy environment can also be cozy! To start with, they were very gracious by accepting a reservation for 8 people at 6:00. Then they came outside and took our order even before we sat down and so the food was nearly ready by the time we had taken our coats off! The festivities kicked off with a plate of crispy peanuts, which ended up being the chosen appetizer, main course, and dessert for the little guy in our party. We then progressed to delicious dumplings, sesame chicken, spicy lamb huimei, and other delectable specialties! What was so amazing about the experience is that despite packing lots of people into a relatively small square foot area, it did not feel claustrophobic at all; rather it was comfortable and cozy, like sitting at a big table for a family meal at your house (even if it was take-out!!). Overall, Spicy Village was a terrific place for Christmas dinner - and I'm strongly considering coming back here for the 8 days of Hanukkah too!“

“This place is incredi-bull. The beer choices are extensive and tasty. Whether you're coming in to enjoy the taste room or grabbing to go, the customer service is excellent. If you're not into beer, there are some really yummy non beer hard beverages to choose from. Definitely coming back here.“
