I love steak, and I've been to a lot of fine steak places. At La Tete D'Or, the cook on my New York strip sets a new standard for perfection. The gratin was to die for. The sauces so flavoursome. The service was engaging, warm and professional - these guys wear their hospitality badges proudly. The atmosphere? Luxe as the photos show. But I'm here to describe the experience - and yes, it was something to write home about.
