It has a milder flavor compared to Katz's, which I actually prefer since it allowed me to finish the whole sandwich in one go. Katz's meat is so intensely flavorful that I usually need to take a break and cleanse my palate before I can finish later. This place is a fantastic alternative if you're in Jersey. The prices are reasonable, and the 8 oz option is perfect for satisfying your craving without breaking the bank. The Knish and macaroni salad were delicious as well. They give you delicious pickles. “I’ve lived on the Upper West Side for four years now, and Sushi W hasn’t raised their lunch set prices once in all that time—a truly remarkable business practice.

Lately, they’ve also introduced a sake tasting and regional showcase series, offering complimentary sake and seasonal fish from specific regions.

Every visit to Sushi W is a delight; the experience never ceases to amaze me. A huge thank you to Yon-San for continuously delivering such an wonderful experience for us!“

I have been at two locations and I have ordered 4 times overall, it is just OK, I am not impressed by the taste of the coffee, there are much better coffees around on UES in terms of the taste. Also, I do not trust their good rating anymore after I felt being kinda pushed to give the best reviews and immediately - I do not like that and I believe many people did it on the spot. We started with the meatballs which were good, but it was only 4 small meatballs. I enjoyed the Rigatoni with Sausage and Mushrooms. “Today I visited Kohoku Ku Ramen and ordered takoyaki and EBI ramen.
The food was really delicious. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a rich and flavorful sauce. The EBI ramen had a strong shrimp aroma, and the broth was rich and tasty.
I wasn’t feeling well today and had a stuffy nose, but the hot soup with a slightly spicy kick really helped clear my head. It felt so comforting and refreshing.
Overall, a great experience—definitely a place I would come back to!“

“If you are celiac and want a good burger in NYC, this is the place for you. Food here is amazing. We came here twice during our visit, takeout the first time, and ate at the restaurant the second.
I would suggest you to eat here, quality is high and hot food is always better, but this place is so good that even when it's cold at home is worth it. Very good burger, amazing popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries are a gem.“

“First time here. We wanted something light to eat and it did not disappoint. The ambience is nice and relaxing, the service - top notch. Never ran out of a carafe of water. We had the chips - fresh and warm (a little salt to it would have made them perfect but again- they were great) queso no complaints.

Shrimp tacos and al pastor tacos. We were amazed with the amount of filling in all of them. Maybe the pineapple in the Al pastor could have been diced instead of one big piece. - just nitpicking here. We would come back again for sure. Pineapple smash was the drink and it was very tasty“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“
