“So we had the Candy/Ice Cream Truck as a fun addition to our Hanukkah Celebration. Booking the truck was super easy! Liz was on time and just so sweet! The variety of candies blew us all away! An absolute must to make your celebrations extra special. We will be using them again!“

“Great pastrami sandwiches. I also tried the corned beef but didn't enjoy it as much. Corn3d beef wasn't bad just not as special as the pastrami.

Definitely stick to the pastrami.

Make sure you give yourself time. The line is long and they take their time with every customer. Very slow moving but worth the wait.“

“This place is incredi-bull. The beer choices are extensive and tasty. Whether you're coming in to enjoy the taste room or grabbing to go, the customer service is excellent. If you're not into beer, there are some really yummy non beer hard beverages to choose from. Definitely coming back here.“

“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“

“I feel so lucky to have this place just a short walk from my house. I come here almost every day for my coffee and they truly never disappoint! It has easily become one of my favorite little neighborhood spots. I was so happy when they started serving sandwiches too. I tried the caprese sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! “What a wonderful find! Everything about the experience here was absolutely amazing. The restaurant has a cozy, warm environment with a lovely corner setup that makes for a great dining atmosphere.
The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. A special shoutout to our waiter, DAVID—he was fantastic! He was so helpful with walking us through the menu and giving recommendations, which made deciding what to order effortless.

“Great breakfast sandwich! Many to choose from. Nice employees/owners. Quick service. Able to sit down and eat but they don't have typical table service. Small space but multiple tables. More of a quick breakfast rather than a full service sit down meal but if you're on the run, the sandwiches are delicious and this is the place to go. I'm going to be back in town next month and already know what I will have.“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Sankofa Cafe is a gift to the Montclair community and surrounding communities that it serves. The atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming, the coffee and tea are wonderful, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Sankofa has become of hub of the community, often hosting social and cultural events, in addition to participating in community outreach in support of many causes.

The owner, Jessica Troupe, has poured her heart and soul into this cafe, and it shows. It is one of the best coffee shop in the area.“

The had sandwiches as well. I decided to get the Popeye slice (spinach & ricotta) and a prosciutto slice. Oh my goodness was amazing!! They had about 10 flavors of gelato to pick from as well. I got a scoop of the pistachio & a scoop of fruity pebbles. I was told by the owners daughter who was at register (very polite & friendly) they make them in house. I had to drive little of 30 min to get there. If you’re in the area stop by or if you like me take a ride. You won’t be sorry. There’s a fountain outside where you or the kids can cool off. “i’ve been going here for around four years at this point, and I need to give it more credit. This small and very cozy restaurant is absolutely amazing food wise literally everything’s good my personal favorite being the steamed vegetable Gyoza as it is literally the best I have found in all of New Jersey. As well as their Tonkatsu, Katsu, which I just want to highlight. The Katsu is amazing and this is the most customizable Ramen joint I’ve ever been to. I’m astonished that this place isn’t filled to the brim every day.“
