“I LOVED the ice cream here! And you have to get the waffle cone! Immediately upon stepping into the shop, you are hit with the smell of waffles, and the cones taste just as good they smell. I got the toasted coconut and cappuccino chocolate chip flavors, and both were delicious but my favorite was the toasted coconut. It was very unique and there were so many toasted coconut bits! The ice cream itself is rich and creamy. Definitely a key spot to go to in ridgewood“

Aditya was taking care of our table and he did a phenomenal job in taking care of all the individual requests pertaining to diet restrictions, choices and requirements. The owner took his time to come to our table and speak with us which was a genuine approach and care for their customers.Talking about food, I was shocked at the quality in a good way. While dal Bukhara is their famous dal, dal fry was not far behind either. It was well cooked and flavorful. The palak chaat is definitely a must try as well. A ton of variety to choose from. Highly recommend booking a reservation before going in because the place is packed especially on weekends.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Cafe 37. The waitstaff were sooo accommodating and friendly. The food was exceptional. I had a series of different dishes (it was my birthday and was starving). Everything was perfect! It’s BYOB so don’t forget to bring your favorite wine / champagne / beer. The parking isn’t too bad for ridgewood, I parked down by the church. I would not recommend it for children. It is great for a date night or special occasion.“

“Dietary restrictions: I still like the beef but it was actually bison meat. I am on the whole 30 diet. It’s very strict and only allows quality meats, veggies and fruit and that’s it. I was reluctant to get any sort of “fast food”. But I did not find fast food at Bareburger. It’s obviously the highest quality meats and ingredients. I had a double bison burger filled with caramelized onions and avocado and wrapped in collard green wrap. The food was of very high-quality and it was delicious. The bison was lean but not dried out like a hockey puck it was moist and tasty. Overall it was a great choice than a great experience. Even though it was a pick up both the server and bartender that helped me were very helpful and pleasant. As my massage therapist is in town I will be back!“

“We were at Cravings Tapas for a live music performance by Gizem in early March when te restaurant was reserved for I’m guessing 80-100 diners. This bistro is full of warmth and hospitality was top level, starting with its owner Ms. Stani and her dedicated wait staff. The portions are as generous as the variety offered on the menu, ensuring that every diner leaves satisfied. But it wasn’t just about the food for us; we enjoyed Gizem’s live music which added another layer of charm to our experience. With performances ranging from French and Turkish melodies to English classics and even Persian and Indian songs, it was so much fun. Back to Craving Tapas: everything was delicious! And we tried over 15 different items from the menu at our table of four. Last but not the least is about the kitchen staff: kudos to its hard working crew and the chef for pushing out hundreds of tapas to dining room full to the brim without any delays. Not an easy feat. The shell has a crisp but you won't worry about breaking a tooth-dolmades : if you're afraid to commit to a full order, here's your chance to try it ! You won't be disappointed-tabbouleh : such a lovely addition to the meal you just created. Adds flavor with the mint/parsley/onion heavenly goodness-cabbage: tried both the white and red at different times and both were tasty. Felt that the white took in more of the flavor around the dish while the red just added crunchDRESSINGS-any tahini option is the right answer. If you're not familiar with the taste of tahini to begin with (earthy if you will), then I would recommend a flavored one-roasted red pepper tahini: a gift from above ! There is a slight sweet yet smokey flavor that wraps everything together-garlic jalapeño tahini: not as spicy as you'd imagine so it just gives a nice lil zest to your dish-lemon & olive oil : depending on what you put in your order, this will help with overall texture. If you opted out of wet stuff (tomatoes, lettuce, etc) this is your choice !Lastly,The Earth Burger: like a big ole falafel and WOW did not disappoint. Maintained the integrity of the falafel (crispy outside, soft inside) while giving you the satisfying big bite you're looking for. Only complaint is since it is such a hearty size, maybe a size of tahini or tatziki should accompany it. But if you ask, they’ll give you a side !!Basically, this is a great asset to the area.Kind staff, smiling faces, clean sitting area and portion sizes that will have you stuffed all day!Their in house lemonade is the BEST !“

“Visiting Grumpys for the Pizza Hunters App and was not disappointed. Parking can be tricky. There are only 4 parking spots behind the Pizzeria..I wound up parking across the street and patronizing the Deli as well in the process. I didn't even get all the way inside the door and was greeted immediately with a Hello, Welcome and How are You. Service was excellent and the price point was excellent. A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. Really, the pizza has its own unique style and delivery. It all works. At one point, I thought maybe a little more sauce, since i am a big fan, but once it hits your taste Buds, you realize that it all works perfectly together and that's what makes it unique as a Grumpys Pizza. “Greenlife has a foundation in the old-time health store from the 70's. Staff know how to answer questions and can advise on some of the best items to help customers. Wednesdays are $ 1:00 for a shot of wheat grass, can't be better. They also sell Cabbage juice in a glass container; other health stores had no idea of this product.“

“I did a Google search for a coffee shop and came upon this small, unique shop. I ordered a latte and it was very good. It’s a very small set up with a huge mission. It’s a non-profit to help people with disabilities to have a place to work. What a great cause! I didn’t get any food but the options looked quite yummy.Parking: Very little parking on the street. There is a lot behind the building which had quite a few empty spaces. Have to walk around the building to get to the storefront but not difficult or long walk.“

“THE BEST! gelato. This was the best idea for Englewood! I shouldn't rave because it will only get busier, and there is often a line. The experience begins when you step into Bianco Nero. It's as if you stepped into Italy. They offer some delicious flavors , especially chocolate hazelnut. Some flavors are rotated so that there are surprises to entice you. Of course, they have sprinkles and fun cones in different sizes and cups, but the best part is the GELATO!“

“I worked with Ma’s Tea House for a corporate event. Initially we wanted them to come on site at our NYC office location at make fresh bubble tea as people came into the office, which they do offer, but the building had a lot of specific requests which made it difficult to coordinate. We ended up deciding to switch to a delivery of 100 bubble teas in the morning for my event that same afternoon. From start to finish, they were very easy to work with and responsive. I stopped by the shop and Justin worked with me to decide on what would be best for delivery and what flavors would be good options. I even requested they add my company’s stickers to the cups along with their own and they did. Delivery was a little tough (but that was due to the location of the office in midtown, police officers not allowing vehicles to stop, etc.) but we eventually found each other for delivery and they helped bring the bubble teas into the building within the delivery time discussed.As for the bubble teas during the event, we decided on 50 white peach rose with strawberry popping boba and 50 passion fruit with mango popping boba. They were a HUGE hit and mostly gone within the hour from the start of the event which we didn’t expect. We were anticipating some leftovers by the end of the day, but in the end, there were none.Pricing was reasonable and comparable to other quotes that we received. Brian was great to work with. We would look to work with them again in the future!“

“Cookies looked so good we forgot to take a picture of the actual box of cookies we ordered. We got the box of four, Kitchen Sink, Stuffed Nutella, S’mores & OG Chunk. All the cookies were super fresh; hard but soft outside with a gooey warm inside..YUM! My favorite was the OG Chunk (had some sea salt on top) and the stuffed nutella. The kitchen sink was also very good especially with the potato chips but I just wish it didn’t have caramel drizzle on top. Definitely want to come again to try other flavors, but one thing I did have a problem with is the political views on the outside of the door. I do wish I noticed before walking in but I think political views on the outside of a cookie store is not necessary. Other than that, great cookies!“

“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“
