“Just had brunch at White Maple Cafe. This place has such a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, in the middle of the lovely town of Ridgewood. We had the chicken wings, short rib benedict, and sandwiches. All the food is extremely high quality, delicious, and tastes like it was made with love! The owner Maryam is the most kind, welcoming, and caring host, as well as a great barista! I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Support this business - they deserve all the love!“

“i’ve been going here for around four years at this point, and I need to give it more credit. This small and very cozy restaurant is absolutely amazing food wise literally everything’s good my personal favorite being the steamed vegetable Gyoza as it is literally the best I have found in all of New Jersey. As well as their Tonkatsu, Katsu, which I just want to highlight. The Katsu is amazing and this is the most customizable Ramen joint I’ve ever been to. I’m astonished that this place isn’t filled to the brim every day.“

“First time I had Indian food was a few years ago in NC, and I was NOT impressed. We were up visiting my sister in Ridgewood and we went out for fathers day dinner at Tabla. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees and we shared them all. I was absolutely impressed. I totally enjoyed EVERY item. I especially liked the curry fish with coconut milk. It is not often that you find a restaurant without any criticisms, but then I found Blu. The dining and take-out experiences are how all food establishments should be run. The staff are clearly happy and supported which makes it, without question, a smaller establishment that I am happy to patronize. If you are reading this and considering ordering or not, just do it. “TC’s Little Taste of Saigon was an absolute five-star experience from start to finish.

My wife and I stopped in and were blown away by both the food and the warmth of the place. We ordered the pho with medium rare meat, spring rolls, and the chicken stir fry — and every single dish delivered.

The pho broth deserves special mention. You can immediately tell it’s made with care and time. Rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful without being heavy — the kind of broth that keeps you going back for “just one more spoonful” until suddenly the bowl is empty. The medium rare beef was tender and perfect, and the balance of herbs and freshness brought everything together beautifully.

The chicken stir fry was equally impressive. The layers of flavor really stood out — savory, slightly sweet, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. It felt thoughtful, not rushed, and you could taste the care in every bite.

The spring rolls were fresh, crisp, and a perfect start to the meal.

Beyond the food, this is exactly the kind of mom-and-pop place you hope to find. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly service that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows.

“I never liked sushi and ive lived my life hating it. Until i continuosly tried it over and over again. WASABI did the trick. I absolutely loved the experience i had here with my coworkers. “I had an amazing experience at Masago Sushi in Ridgewood, NJ. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The prices are also such a big factor since its so low for such big portions. But what really stood out, was the service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick without ever feeling rushed. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. I would like to acknowledge the service of Ashley. She was so nice and really made us know that we didn’t make a mistake going here.

“We made a reservation at Stella Artisan and I had looked at the reviews. Even though the reviews were good, it was not listed as one of Ridgewood's top 10. We arrived and Louis, our server, was so friendly and helpful. The service was great and the food was outstanding. We have eaten in many Ridgewood restaurants and found many expensive and just ok. Stella Artisan has a unique menu and very good food. The lobster tacos were outstanding and the entrees were also outstanding. We were six people and everyone enjoyed their meal. They were also very good with substituting things. I had mentioned that I was gluten free, and Louis came over to tell me the gluten ingredients in the dish I ordered. It is my hope that this restaurant remains as it is a great addition to Ridgewood.“

“Truly Sichuan catered a party I had for 30 people. Renee the owner made the planning process completely stressless. We had the soup dumplings (all guests agreed the best we ever had) and the rest of the food was fresh and so yummy!
