“So, so good. Great selection of food. The food came out quickly and was amazing. The servers were all very kind and hospitable. The restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated. Definitely feels "fancy" without being insanely pricey. The chili cheese naan was definitely my favorite item, perfectly soft and wonderfully cheesy and spicy, but everything we ordered was fantastic.Vegetarian options: Indian restaurants never disappoint with delicious, flavorful veggie options, and this was no exception. There's a generous, clearly labelled vegetarian section, which I very much appreciate.“
“Manjal is our favorite Indian restaurant. It's a quaint, cozy spot in Ridgewood, NJ. Food is delicious! You have to order the boom boom chicken appetizer, and for an amazing vegetarian option, the honey chili cauliflower is ridiculously good! They have Saratoga still water, which is the best. Excellent food and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.“
“A personable, high quality and wonderful experience from the minute we walked in. Aditya was taking care of our table and he did a phenomenal job in taking care of all the individual requests pertaining to diet restrictions, choices and requirements. The owner took his time to come to our table and speak with us which was a genuine approach and care for their customers.Talking about food, I was shocked at the quality in a good way. While dal Bukhara is their famous dal, dal fry was not far behind either. It was well cooked and flavorful. The palak chaat is definitely a must try as well. A ton of variety to choose from. Highly recommend booking a reservation before going in because the place is packed especially on weekends.“
“Absolutely amazing food, the goat sukka & boneless chicken biryani is our go to order. Various other dishes that we have tried are also delicious. The quality & taste of food is always consistent both when we have done a takeout and catered at a party. The husband (chef) and wife (at the counter) are so cheerful & pleasant, always a pleasure to interact with. Excellent addition to the neighborhood“
“Fantastic home made food. By far the best authentic food I have had . Absolutely phenomenal. The food was not too oily, had freshness and depth in flavor and was delivered to the table with a smile, this indeed felt like homemade food. Amazing work! I will be back again and again.“
“The food is flawless. As someone who doesn't enjoy spicy dishes, I appreciate how well they can adjust the spice level without compromising on flavor. It's advisable to make reservations as the restaurant tends to fill up rapidly.“
“Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we have had in a while...Highly recommend! This is our third time eating at this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a true pleasure. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch.“
“We ate dinner at the restaurant this past Saturday night The place was crowded and the service was very good Lots of staff that were very attentive Food was good but I would to be sure to inquire about the level of spice. Overall a nice experience.“
“Wonderful food with lots to choose from. More than the usual choices and always prepared to ones taste. Great service in a quiet atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Also indicates gluten freeParking: There is a town lot half a block awayKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome“
“We had an excellent selection of Indian cuisine. Trying many appetizers and sharing our entrees. The staff was attentive, the food quite memorable. We will certainly return.Vegetarian options: Sadly, none of us were vegetarians, but knowing my daughter, she would be happy here.“
“Recently started ordering from here and have tried the tandoori chicken bowl. It’s sometimes a bit too salty but usually pretty good. My only complaint is that they charge you for sides of sauce which I am totally fine with but they barely put any sauce in the container. If you are going to charge people for sauce you should at least fill the container. They ran out of white sauce one day and instead of letting us know they just sent a different sauce (not sure what it was) and still charged for it. Not the end of the world and again I do not mind being charged extra for sauce but it would have been nice to have a heads up. Good place for a quick bite and they are open late!“
“We absolutely love this place!! The food is 5 stars delicious. The owners/waiters are very polite and do the best they can on a busy Friday night. I really enjoy the music and mood lighting and find the table and chairs to be comfortable. Sometimes the food/lassi does not come all at once but we usually share so we don’t mind. Highly recommend if you like indian food“
“Great food, great service. The Tiramsu, Strawberry Shake, Wrap, Chicken Stir Fry, Meat Salad, Burger, Waffle fries, Chocolate Cake were great. Love this place...found my new all-time favorite place to dine in. Quick and fast service!! Lots of best wishes!! ❤️Vegetarian options: Vegetarian food is availableDietary restrictions: Dietary accommodations are made as needed.Parking: Muncipal parking opposite Suffern Post Office. Parking paid between 8:30am and 4:30pm. After that, you can park without any charge but not explicitly spelled out. But parking is not enforced at weekends yet. But 2 hour parking is limited throughout the streets.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Kids love this place.“
“This is my first time writing a review because it is worth it. I order the Partha Muthal Paneer butter Masala and Balle Lakka Butter Chicken and it was delicious. It brought me back to goa where i try the chicken for the first time. I will recommend Zanu's Kitchen if you want to eat real indian food. I will definitely order again from here. I have to try other dishes but I am sure I won't be disappointed.“
“Excellent food, tried their Medu Vada, Potato Bhajji options for appetizers and the food tasted exceptionally wellFor the main course had Poori Korma and Pav Bhaji Dosa which was quite unique and deliciousOverall, a very underrated but great place for India food, especially South Indian cuisine“
“This is the second time I have eaten here. Both times were excellent. Last night I had all vegetarian -saag, chana masala and a spicy cauliflower appetizer and tea. Theybig plenty of nan bread if you order it and adequate rice. The server went out of his way to be friendly. Nice clean bathroom. Relatively big parking lot. Careful - it's on a busy street. Both times I made a right turn into the parking lot. There is a hill from the south. Advance slowly. I would not attempt a left turn coming from the north.“
“LOVED IT! This Indian Resturant has a unique upbeat vibe. and a friendly staff. Expect A more modern glimpse of the culture with light decor and current music. Very clean. Reasonable prices.. allowing us tasty appetzers and a fresh mango lasse! Generous portions. Most importantly the food was freshly prepared and expertly seasoned and tasted it. They also have a terrific, reasonable lunch buffet.! A+++++! Can't say enough. So glad they are here..Parking: It is located in a strip mall with ample parking.“
“Ordered via UberEats on a Thursday at around 7. There was a promotion for BOGO free on certain items. So I ordered 2 chicken kadai (each comes with a rice) and 2 egg biryani, and an order of samosas. I've never tried either of the dishes but figured why not? It's BOGO and I can expand my palette on Indian food. I really liked the chicken kadai. The chicken was nice and tender, and the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy. The egg biryani was just okay - basically just seasoned rice with hard boiled egg. I probably wouldn't get this again. Samosas were pretty standard. The portions are big. We had SO much food that we had to eat this across 4 meals. Needless to say, we were pretty tired of eating it by the end. I probably wouldn't do the BOGO option again, but I would like to dine in and try some other dishes fresh.“
“No offense intended. Food is excellent; however I'm not pleased with the convenience fee ($1.50) and carryout fee ($1.50)... what is up with that? So let me get this straight, you're going to charge me $1.50 to pack up an order which, by no option, is carryout because you're not a sit down restaurant? This is on top of the 3.5% credit card surcharge, and taxes. Not cool.Let's finish with the pricing of Bombay's menu. You're seriously getting outta hand with the pricing... pretty soon you'll price every dish in the mid $30 range. It's easy to drop $100 on two people for little in the quantity of food. This is why I decreased my patronage with you; but who cares about one person. Thanks“
“I've been here a few times with my fellow colleagues and friends, and each time we're treated kindly. Recently, I took a few work acquaintances here, and they had nooooo idea what Indian food even was, let alone what to expect. Our waiter was gracious and took care to help each one understand what was in the food and worked with our gluten free member to make sure she had food to eat. The food was amazing, as it always is, and everyone was blown away.Don't hesitate to stop in, they know what they're doing here and it shows! The lunch special is incredibly reasonable and very delish as well if you need a fast yet delicious lunch.“
“Absolutely delicious and authentic northern Indian food. Great place for a family meal or a gathering with friends. Super friendly service.Vegetarian options: We went in a family group with many vegetarian and gluten free people dining in our party. There's an abundance of menu options to choose from, and everything we had was savory and delicious.Dietary restrictions: We went in a family group with many vegetarian and gluten free people dining in our party. “Located in Bergen County, this place is very small and offers limited seating. The place doesn't have much ambiance as such but they do have some good food to serve. I bought jalebi and fafda but was disappointed to know that they don't offer the papaya chutney. The chutneys which they offered were too watery and this can be improved upon whereas I had also bought dhokla which was fresh and was good. This place does offer the majority of snacks but I believe they can expand on the business by offering certain snacks( example: khandvi) through orders.“
“Hands down this place gets all the stars!!! The food was out of this world, very authentic, you can tell it’s family owned, family recipe which tells me it’s all made with love.I walked in and was greeted by all of the staff. I already knew I wanted from the hot buffet, but I’m terrible with ordering food in any kind of authentic restaurants because I can’t say anything Spanish. I also was ordering in a confusing way because I just didn’t know how else to say what I wanted but the woman who helped me was fantastic! She was beyond patient with me and laughing and made me feel comfortable and not like the biggest pain in the butt. I did decide to pull out and use google translate because I knew it was me making things sound more complicated. She laughed, and that cleared up everything, and she even used it back to make me feel less silly which was the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. I actually walked out with the biggest smile on my face because of that woman, she made my day.I’ve worked in the food business for over 20 years and in management and I have to say, you don’t find service like that anywhere anymore. If that was anywhere else I would’ve gotten a lot of attitude and frustration. I was so pleased and enjoyed my first experience so much that I can’t wait to go back.Even though it’s almost an hour from me, it’s totally worth the trip. Aside from the amazing service and friendly staff, the place was very clean, the food was out of this world, the portions were huge. I got for 2 people and after I got home it wound up feeding 3 people. I give them 10 ⭐️’s because 5 just isn’t enough.“
“Pros1. Both chicken lollipop and chicken curry tasted great2. Not expensive at allCons1. Run by two nice folks who were also cooks. This meant that it was hard for them to balance both service and cooking efficiently2. Indoor needs an update, pronto. If you want no frills, cheap but good food (esp delivery) would recommend, but if you want to eat in keep expectations in check. Fine dining this is not“
“Very enjoyable local Bangladeshi restaurant in Paterson New Jersey. The restaurant itself seemed newer and it was very clean. The prices were reasonable, varying from about $8 and entree to around $15 an entree. I highly recommend stopping by for Bengali / Indian food cuisine. Check out the photos for the dishes we ordered.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options for most dishes, and they were willing to prepare dishes vegetarian style, like the biryani.Parking: Free street parking along the road.Kid-friendliness: Baby and toddler high chairs available.“
“Hands down, the best Pakistani restaurant in the area. Incredible food and excellent service. Very welcoming and hospitable owner. Always a great experience, I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. Definitely try the Butter Chicken and Nihari Beef (weekends only), both amazing.“
“Their spicy chicken rap is really good it’s my favorite you should try it and they are very friendly and they make the food right in front of you I really recommend them it’s a very good place to eat and when I say the best I mean the absolute best“
“We found this restaurant after a visit to the nearby Mahwah temple on a Sunday night given most other restaurants were closing or shut around 7.30pm. we were very impressed with the quality and taste of food. We ordered chola bathura, naan, roti, chapati , Dal tadka, paneer etc and all of them were very good. The food was reasonably priced too, definitely lower than most Indian restaurants these days.“
“We just had take-out from Downtown Dhaba, this is not our first visit, but we had not been in a while, most of our choices were good, Garlic naan, papadum, chicken vindaloo, tamarind chicken and aloo gobi , we did not enjoy the spicy mango pickle, very salty, inedible, whatever solid pieces in there were very hard and impossible to chew as if it was all peel, I will not order this again.I also find it's on the pricey side.“
“Their food is good, not all but some of them. Atmosphere is not suitable enough I think to seat and eat because some people always seat there and try to speak political talk. Most of the Bengali people I talked they preferred just to take the food not seat.“
“Delivery Order - Goat Curry, Madras Parotta, and Vegetable Cutlets were really good but the Chicken Biryani was just average. Biryani was more like rice mixed with chicken gravy. I would probably order Curries from here, definitely not the Biryani.“
“I had gone here for my birthday day before with a small group for dinner.i had been here before last year and have ordered delivery using apps a couple of times. The quality of the food is excellent until now.If you are looking for the genuine Indo Chinese flavors then this is the place to go.Their prices are also reasonable and the service is top notch. They even made a birthday cake for me with gulab jamun which was awesome. The server Arvind is very polite, hospitable and genuine. Also another person but I didn’t get his name but he wears a red vermilion mark on his forehead. My mom is the worst food critic you can meet but she loves the schezwan fried rice n the goat biryani.Definitely recommend to anyone in the Franklin area“
“This restaurant never disappoints. My husband and I have been going to Mantra for many years. We consider it very high end Indian cuisine. It has a beautiful atmosphere and excellent service. The quality and presentation of the food is outstanding. So fresh and delectable!!! It's our all time favorite Indian restaurant in Bergen County.“
“I found this place on Instagram,The food is amazing and the ambience gives you am experience of a restaurant in Mumbai. The frankies are worth a try.Dahi puri in chaat. The Sandwiches are amazing to taste and also picture worthy.I was also amazed from the kala kattha sharbat soda“
“Today I ordered Vada Pav and Samosa ChatFood is good, I like it.Actually my order is better than the near by Indian full scale restaurants that I had last few months. My bill is cheaper than what I paid in other restaurants for same itemsKeep up.“
“One of the best India lunch I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend it!! Going to soon visit the place. Wow incredible chicken tikka, dal, veggie, naan, rice and rice pudding. I felt nostalgic about the food, reminded me of India Mumbai. (Regret eating the food without taking picture) :)“
