“Came here for the first time- we’re Vegans, and sometimes it’s difficult to find an Indian restaurant that has many vegan options. The staff went out of their way to help us find the vegan options on the menu, and when they were out of some ingredients to make certain dishes (it’s Diwali, and so it’s a busy time of year) that featured mushrooms and tofu, they actually custom created a dish so that we could try more of what they have to offer. A great experience, and will definitely be coming back!

Whether we get take out or dine in, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is fresh and flavorful, the music is calming jazz and the booths are so comfortable. We have many favorite dishes @ we especially love the thickness & taste of the raita. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we also enjoyed it 25 years ago when it was Begum Palace. “If you want some real tasty Indian food this is the spot to go. I ordered take home order and ate all the food before I could take pictures. I highly recommend getting chili garlic naan, tika marsala, and samosas. Spicy versions are actually spicy, highly highly recommend.

The place itself is very modern looking. Will have to take my wife here one day and bring our own drinks. Staff is professional and very friendly.“

“While we have eaten here before and came in expecting to enjoy the North Indian food and the dosa, what stole the show was the Bhindi Polichathu and the Kerala Parotta (off menu but available to order). It was so authentic but also very innovative and very well executed. You have to try the Kerala cuisine here - even if you’re vegetarian. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the Malayali food!“

When I went he personally came & show the table even though He was not working at my table. Pratikbhai is excellent every time. He ask the taste & bring the same taste food. “Tried it for the first time and it was soooooo goooood I can’t believe I just discovered this place. We tried the Chicken 65 and it was absolutely delicious and perfect amount of spicy. “Absolutely amazing. They're a family owned restaurant so I understand its hard with these times and coronavirus. Its hard to find good Indian food and I must say, I've been coming here for more than 20 years and I still will be coming more and more! Out of all the restaurants in parsippany & Rt 46, I specially come down to Wayne to eat this amazing food. my fav is the sag panir, malai kofta, and vegetable biryani. I love the one waitress and how she explained the spice levels according to chiptole and taco bell! the uncle who is the owner always greets everyone like hes known them for years. Like we are family, its heart warming since i dont live with my family. Amazing food, amazing people and amazing prices!“

“A great experience with takeaway catered food.
While we have ordered from here several times, this weekend we had a birthday party where we served food from Bayleaf. I went in person on Wednesday and spoke with Terence who was tremendously helpful in suggesting amounts and taking our order. The order was ready as scheduled Saturday and everyone enjoyed the trays of food: biryani samosas sauces and naan- even provided serving tongs and spoons. It was an easy and delicious experience for self serve party food. Thank you to the BayLeaf restaurant! Highly recommend.“

“I ordered ToGo with zero expectations with items Dahi kebab, halla noodles, Aloo capsicum tikka curry, gobi 65. All items are good. Dahi Kebab is AMAZING, didn't expect it would be that yummy. Curry is creamy, flavorful and balanced. Most importantly I didn't feel heavy in my tummy after lunch, so that digested like snow. Kudos team!“

“We were back visiting the area and wanted to meet up for dinner with family coming from NY State, and were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, delicious and inventive fusion of Indian & Italian(What’s not to like?). Our server Armand (son of the owners)was delightful as was his mother, co-founder/co-owner, Bhavana Chopra, who we met during our visit. We loved the Kofta Marinara, Basil Chicken Tikka and Chicken Tikka Calzone. The desserts were delicious too. We will definitely return.“

Truly delicious is an understatement! As for dessert, I can't recall what the exact name is but it's a lentil based pudding and omg, pure heaven! “Mistakes happen. It’s not about whether one makes mistakes or not but about how one handles them. I was told by them that one of our party orders got slightly messed up last minute, but offered quick close alternatives. It took them an extra half hour to make the new dish. Was it the dish I wanted originally? No. but did they do their absolute best to make sure that my party wasn’t ruined? Absolutely! and that’s what matters at the end of the day. And they handed me the food that got slightly messed up PLUS the new dish.

“We beat the rush. Cane in and ordered sat down and with in 15 mins had our food. There were those who ordered on line. The rush was so great some waited an hour before getting their order. We came in at 5:30. If you seriously need your order. Order between 5:00pm & 5:30pm or after 7pm. If you Can hold Out. LaZeez was that slammed. They with a full staff were that overwhelmed. Good food, great service. But choose your time in going. They only have so much room for flexibility. Maybe they need to buy the place next door and expand there kitchen?“

“They have the best eggless cakes I have ever tasted . No lie told , just find out for yourself . I recommend to come here and try all of their flavors because they are literally ALL delicious! My personal favorite are the strawberry & mango cake, pineapple cake & the chocolate mousse cake . And they are affordable prices . I’m getting a whole one one for my birthday this year !
