“Ordered the chicken curry lunch box and picked up within 45 mins. It came with a portion of chicken curry, chopped and sautéed red vegetables (I think it may have been beets), fluffy rice, moru curry (turmeric-infused buttermilk), mango pickle, fish curry, and a gulab jamun. (I substituted the default kingfish curry for "malabar fish curry" with salmon pieces instead - was blown away by its taste!). Everything was fresh and flavorful! I especially loved the fluffy rice, the moru curry, the spiciness of the chicken curry, and most of all, the flavor profile of the malabar fish curry! Would definitely come back and buy this combo again!

Parking: Street parking on slight incline. Street is fairly quiet and was somewhat filled but can still easily find parking.“

“Rudra Bistró the best Indian cuisine hands down! The owner of this little gem Vinay was the owner of Kinera in Edgewater. Kinera was where we went for Indian food at least 3-4 times a month, we were so sad when they closed!
My daughter wanted Indian food and I read a million reviews of a million places and couldn’t decide where to go, we went to Mantra and walked out b/c it was empty and that’s not a good sign, so we decided to go to Rudra on a whim, it was amazing, tasted like Kinera, and we found out it is Vinay the owner of Kinera, i highly suggest you give Rudra a try!!! “My fiancé and I came here on a whim due to the reviews as we were in the mood for Indian. We came about 9pm, an hour after losing. Ordered the Lamb Curry, Lamb Madras and the Bhindi-Do-Plaza (Vegan Okra) all with rice and 1 order of each Garlic and Cheese Naan. While we were waiting for our order the young man behind the counter brought out veggie spring rolls on the house. The service and food were ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! My wife is Jamaican and I am Russian but we share a love for Indian Food. This place DEFINITELY HITS THE SPOT! A++++ P.S. Amazing Raita and super FLUFFY Naan.

“I passed by and saw they have a buffet on the weekends for ~$20. I came back the next day to try it. I enjoyed my experience. My top dishes were the chili fish, the tikka masala sauce, and the rice pudding dessert. I was the first person to sit in the dining room and I was happy to see that the place steadily filled up. I saw that the waitress had good rapport with the regulars. I’ll definitely be back another weekend.“
