“I’ve been eating Chicken Delight since I was a kid — the kind of spot my grandfather would grab on those random days, and we’d bring it home to my grandma like we just hit the lotto 😂.
Even now, every time I come back to Westwood to visit family, this place is still one of my first stops. Not because it tastes exactly the same as when I was little — it doesn’t — but the memory hits the same every time.
I always go straight for the chicken and fries. The chicken is hot, crispy, and comforting in that “I grew up on this” kind of way.
And the rolls? Still soft. Still doing what they need to do.
Their coleslaw and macaroni salad have always been my secret favorites — still some of the best around.
My grandparents loved the shrimp and ribs, so those were always on the table growing up even though I never ate them myself.
And the pizza? The second you open that door, the aroma hits you right in the face — warm, fresh, familiar. The kind of smell that drags your whole childhood back instantly.
We even had Chicken Delight at family gatherings and church events — that’s how deep it runs in our family story.
This place isn’t just a take-out spot — it’s a piece of home that somehow stayed standing while everything else changed.
If you grew up around here, you already know. ❤️🍗“

“I discovered Wild Radish at the farmers market. My daughter and I now pretty much live on Wild Radish meals for lunch and dinner during the week! The food is delicious, fresh, healthy and a great way to eat well without the fuss! They have lots of gluten free and vegan options, too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for healthy, delicious prepared meals. They even deliver to your home!“

“Went to Choo Choo Train with five friends. Ordered Miso Salmon entree and it was delicious. Salmon was grilled perfectly, broccoli and carrots were cooked well and still crunchy, and mashed sweet potatoes were yummy. Cannot say enough about food and attentive service. Will return...no doubt!“

“A wonderful family-owned restaurant with a very warm and welcoming owner couple, Sanjana and her husband. You can truly feel the care and passion that goes into the food.
We tried several dishes and everything was excellent:
• Samosa – 9/10
• Onion pakoda – 8/10
• Chai – 9/10
• Lasooni Paneer – 10/10 (absolute standout!)
• Kadai Paneer – 9/10
• Garlic naan – 9/10
• Diwani Handi – 8/10
• Biryani – 8/10
The food is prepared by the owner, and the freshness and authentic flavors really show. Overall, a great dining experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Indian food. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Tonight I had the pleasure to dine at Bici restaurant in Ramsey, NJ. From the minute I walked in, I knew I was going to like it! You are greeted in such a warm and friendly manner. One of the owners, Marcello makes his rounds around the room speaking to his customers and making you feel at home. Everything I ordered was delicious and the waiters are so polite and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere and I will be back again. Thank you staff for your hospitality. It’s a BYOB. It’s a small restaurant with outdoor dining. Definitely 5 stars!!!!!“

“Rudra Indian Bistro on Cedar Lane is authentic as it gets. We have been here so many times and will always keep coming back because the food is high quality, healthy, and very delicious. We always start with the House Salad which is a great way to begin your meal. The Tandoori chicken is so juicy and succulent, and the Lamb Korma is one of our favorites. “Had dinner here this weekend for a nice night out. Food was beyond amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable about their dishes and specials. We ended up with Tuna Tartar, Stuffed Figs wrapped in bacon with salad, and Asparagus with roasted red pepper puree topped with prosciutto for an appetizer. I had a veal chop that was out of this world, my fiancée had seared duck breast, and we finished it off with a slice of delicious carrot cake and decaf cappuccinos. Everything was absolutely incredible, couldn't recommend it more for a nice night out!“

“With all the competition Johnny's faces in Mahwah, Ramsey, Allendale, and Suffern they have clearly shown from opening day to the present why they are the top choice. Every aspect of a business a customer would want they excel (product, cleanliness, customer service, and menu options). Besides a superlative slice of pizza their Sicilian is larger than others without being burnt on top (commonly found elsewhere), and their version of the Deep Dish slice is tremendous. If you want to dine in, take out, or not leave the comfort of your home and have the food delivered, they are the Must Go To spot in the area.“

“This was my second visit in 7 days. The wagu & wine special was fabulous as always. But the service was awful this time. The waiter was very nice initially but we only saw him twice. I had to keep stopping people to fill our water. Our waiter never checked on us and the burgers took forever. The coffee took forever and arrived cold. I believe it was the manager who re-made my cappuccino. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and they did give us dessert for that. But what a difference from last week when we had stellar service from Dominick!“

“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.“

“I was blown away by the generosity of the servings. You certainly get your money's worth here! The flavor profile has evolved into something much more sophisticated. “Sushi & Kimchi has become my new favorite comfy, cozy, and cute hideaway in Rockland for when I want the best tasting and authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. Gina (owner) and Julie (waitress) are both absolutely lovely! Both Gina and the restaurant remind me of what I recall to have been the first Korean/Japanese sushi house in Bardonia, NY that I grew up up dining at in the early 2000’s and up until I moved out of state in 2008. Unfortunately, that location is no longer in business, but Sushi & Kimchi definitely gives all the nostalgic feels! The foos is always fresh and absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, the service is always on point, and you’re welcomed each time with a warm welcome from everyone! It’s a little hidden gem in a parking lot off of Route 59 in Nyack that winds down in the late afternoon and is calm in the evening. The perfect place to go for an overall relaxing experience that will have you leaving full after having enjoyed every last bite! I’ve also ordered through DoorDash and the presentation, temperature, taste and overall quality were all solid as well. Thoroughly impressed!

It's BYOB but the waitress (Elif i think) made sure to bring all we needed for the wine and checked on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were good.
