This is one of those rare spots that gets everything *exactly right*. The sauce has that perfect touch of sweetness—balanced, not overpowering—just enough to make every bite stand out without losing that classic New York flavor.

“If you are looking for authentic Portuguese cuisine in Rockland or Bergen county, this is the place to visit. Delicious appetizers and entrees at not-too-exorbitant prices. They have a decent selection of Portuguese wines and nice desserts too.“

“I still like the Grand Saloon after all these years. Food still good, especially the French Dip. Agree with another reviewer tho- the beers are a rip-off (Guinness is expensive and underpoured). Pearl River is one of my favorite downtowns! 3.5 - 4 stars.“
