“Cozy and comfy indoor seating. I went in November but I imagine with warm weather the two spacious outdoor areas are great. Limited Beet selection. Simple but tasty menu (kids menu too) and reasonably priced. The pretzel was huge, French onion soup was yummy, burger and fries/onion rings combo was filling and tasty. Server was lovely and band (Blend) was fun. Had folks out of their seats! Crowd was definitely of an older and wiser generation and my wife and 4 year old had a blast!Parking: Huge lot. No issues.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu. Staff was very friendly. Lots of outdoor space to run around. All the grandma's and grandpa's dining, drinking and dancing that night were super nice and chill.Wheelchair accessibility: First level.“

I live in Staten Island and there is no shortage of good food. And while I don’t come to pearl River specifically to visit Munnos, my dad always asks that I go there for our lunch.This last weekend I got a chicken cutlet parm hero, he got tuna on a seeded hero with extra mayo. Odd choice for an Italian sandwich shop, but pop is old and I don’t scoff at anything he does anymore. While he was eating I did something I never do, I asked for a bite. Now I haven’t had tuna fish in over 30 years. He cut me a small piece and passed it over to my plate.Now I need to say, that food is the one thing families have come together over and have since the beginning of time. Back in 2022 we lost mom. When I took a bite of that tuna sandwich, I was immediately transported back to 9 years old eating mom’s tuna.In short…thank you for causing some of the happiest tears I’ve had in a long time and for the trip back in time with a simple and delicious tuna sandwich. It’s just how mom used to make, which is no easy accomplishment.“

We had breakfast, and everyone enjoyed their food and were plenty full. Our kids were a little messy, but the staff were on it in a flash. “The staff were all so very kind. They came to wish my husband a happy birthday. Our waiter was patient and funny. Both of my kids were in a terrible mood until they ate their food which was amazing (skirt steak and Caesar salad with salmon), so that perked them up. My husband and I had scallops which were perfectly cooked and very tasty! Last, everyone ordered a yummy dessert and ate every last bite (puddin', pannacotta, and cheesecake - everything was tasty). The eggplant rollatine was decent but dry. And, if I want to be picky, the chocolate chip cookies were hard and dry. I prefer them soft. The other desserts were excellent. “It has been a while since I have been here as i moved away and WOW!!! This place is awesome, and the transformation of the backyard is stellar. Megan was out sweet bartender who makes an amazing Manhattan. I had a tasty brunch and came back for cocktails in the evening. The 18 tv's playing sports is crazy. “My wife and I have dined at the Saddle River Inn many times. The food and service is outstanding. Last night we had crab cake and agnolotti with white truffle cream sauce as appetizers. They were both delicious! I enjoyed the Long Island Duck with lo mein, bok choy, shiitake, scallion, crispy rice, orange hoisin sauce as my entre'e. My wife had a pork chop filet special. While she enjoyed the combination of flavors in the dish, the pork was very "chewy". When she mentioned it to our server, he said that he was aware of it. He said that it was a new dish and had to be "tweaked". He offered to replace her meal but she declined. We shared strawberry cheese cake for desert, which was excellent. Without asking, the cost of my wife's entree was taken off our bill. We were pleasantly surprised by this gracious gesture, and plan to be back soon.“

“An absolutely abundant amount of choices, that All sound so delicious. What an incredibly unique menu. We were definitely overwhelmed on what to have. We had the taco Birria pancakes and mozzarella stick hamburger with mozzarella cheese fries. Both were delicious. The service was great, even though we got there just before closing, they didn't rush us. The inside reminds me of a 50's style dinner, so cool. We can't wait to go back and try other things with friends. Highly recommend if you like unique and creative foods.“

“We are huge fans of Peter Kelly's, but the little things need to be improved. We've gone to Kelly's places since the 90's, and are big believers, and X2O's lunch used to be the best buy in town. Like everything else the price has climbed, and it is no longer a great bargain, but it is still worth every penny at $36. The lunch menu has expanded, and even though we miss the risottos, the selection is ample, and the specials are terrific. What caused the rating to drop from five to four stars are two simple but vital things - the bread, which used to be a highlight, was very mediocre, and the coffee was weak, unusual for X2O. The food was spectacular, but the little things need to return to their usual high level.“

My mother, husband and sister all ordered the short ribs special and they all agreed it was over the top delicious. My other sister had the Halibut and she was very satisfied with her dish and I had the duck which is always amazing.“

“When you travel, you seek to find outstanding restaurants. Sometimes you win, other times, you don't. The Hudson House is a great find, a winner at every turn! From our initial greeting by the owner, Matt, to the great staff who didn't miss a beat, to the most critical part, the food, there wasn't a moment of regret. We started with a couple of tables shares. We had cheese plate with 3 cheeses, homemade fig jam to die for, fresh thinly sliced honeycrisp apples, delicious grapes, and an oil-infused crustini. Perfect start, followed by the burrata and pumpkin seed salad with carmelized pears and sweet potato chunks. I didn't think it could get better after this. I tried the sweet potato and fennel soup, very warm and hearty on a cold night, and the taste was just as I hoped! A beet and farro salad with radishes hit the mark! My partner had a fresh halibut that was cooked to perfection, served on ramen noodles and baby bok choy, with an array of fresh mushrooms, with a gentle but flavorful broth, but not enough to be called soup. To me, one of the best fish dishes I've tasted in a long time. Our guests, the wedding couple, ordered duck breast confit, and hanger steak. The duck, one of her favorites, was tender, most, cooked properly and seasoned well. It was a hit with her and her mother. The hanger steak was the choice of the groom, a very picky eater. He couldn't stop reaching about how amazing it was! Sadly, we were so full, we couldn't eat dessert. All the desserts are homemade by the owner, and they sounded unbelievable. But I'll have to return another time to speak to them. Finally, ask to sit in the jail cell. The pictures tell only some of the story. It's a wine cellar, a hidden romantic getaway, a reprise of days long gone. Or have a seat at the bar with the locals. Or just come and see the beautiful tin ceiling and walls. No matter what you do here, you won't be disappointed.“

Furthermore, the GM Sal is a great guy who also knows all there is to know about local beers and the food at Shannon Rose. Overall a great spot for all types of drinks and food! 10/10“

“The food here is excellent! I love when a chef has seasonal menus. We arrived the first night of their ‘Spring menu” and it was amazing. I had the crab cake appetizer and the scallops for my entree. The favorite thing I tried all night was the fried artichoke and calamari dish - omg a must try! My aunt had the cod for her entree which she loved. The portions are on the bigger side. The hostess, the staff, and Chef were all so friendly and welcoming!“

“I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and wanted to pick up some brekkie. I found Bagel Nosh close by. It was a Tuesday at around 9 am. I called ahead for pick up and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes, and piping hot. I ordered a sausage and cheese on a toasted everything wheat bagel, which hit the spot.l. Some places will only give you one sausage patty even when you don't order it with egg but this one came with two. The bagel itself was pretty good and they have more options than most places. It's a pretty heavy/greasy brekkie but you get a bang for your buck here, and it's nice for a once in a while treat.“

The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

She was considerate and explained on the phone that only the small dining room is available.During dinner, she checked on us twice if everything’s okay!!Lynch’s staff were very busy running back and forth for their diners and yet Ms. Brenda asked us if we’ve been served (We did not have to call her attention.). “Bobby Wongs is a welcome addition to the Hawthorne food scene. With a great niche- this soulfully Asian spot is a go to for real and quality stuff! Having them downtown is dangerous only bc I live so close! The chicken original with wok’d rice is a perfect balance of heat and savory. The beef buns ( really all the buns) are a can’t miss- any specials they have are definitely worth a try!“

“Tommy Fox's Public House in Bergenfield, New Jersey is a cool bar that has that cool Irish pub feel to it. The service was friendly and the customers were pretty friendly here, as well. I did not try any of the food, but it looked to be what you would expect from a bar. This is definitely a cool.place to gather with some friends and overall, I would recommend here.“
