“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“

“Clean, cute lil pizza joint w/ nice staff, huge garlic knots that were obvi freshly made and perfect, crispy pie. They offered Mike's hot honey for my pepperoni slice, it's a winner. The counter lady was funny and helpful. I'd never been there so she answered my silly questions well.
Oh yeah.. don't skip the Chocolate chip cookies! I wish I got 2 more 🤦‍♀️“

“Food was great, only thing I would mention is regarding delivery. We requested it be left at the door cause we were running late from daycare. We don’t think that note made it to the delivery driver. Food was great, delivered on time, maybe a little early.“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Got invited to a #yelp event. I said pizza. I’m in. This place is kind of hidden but well worth it. Many pizza slices available. Soon as you walked in and smell the greatness you are going to have. The had sandwiches as well. I decided to get the Popeye slice (spinach & ricotta) and a prosciutto slice. Oh my goodness was amazing!! They had about 10 flavors of gelato to pick from as well. I got a scoop of the pistachio & a scoop of fruity pebbles. I was told by the owners daughter who was at register (very polite & friendly) they make them in house. I had to drive little of 30 min to get there. If you’re in the area stop by or if you like me take a ride. You won’t be sorry. There’s a fountain outside where you or the kids can cool off. “My husband works in Hawthorne and we we’re looking for a good Italian restaurant. After Google reviews we decided to order from Ossy’s and we are so glad we did. When you first walk in the atmosphere is nostalgic and authentic. The staff is so warm and welcoming. I spoke with Ken the last time to place our order and he was a total sweetheart. We have ordered from them twice so far and their food is second to none. You can taste their passion for food. My husband ordered the Chicken Napolitano both times and said it was out of this world delicious. My son ordered Rigatoni with Vodka sauce and practically licked his plate clean!! “I recently visited this halal fast food restaurant and had a great experience overall. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. I ordered the chicken burger and loaded fries, and both were well-seasoned and served hot. It’s reassuring to know that all the meat is 100% halal, which is very important to me.

The restaurant was clean and well-organized, and the menu had a good variety of options at reasonable prices. Service was quick despite it being busy, and the staff were polite and welcoming. The only small improvement I would suggest is offering more drink options or sauces.

“We ordered TOM XAO CARI XA OT CAY which is stir fried curry and lemongrass, HU TIEU XAO CARI CAY which is rice noodle w/curry chicken and Pho Do Bien which is rice noodle seafood soup.
My take was a little different than my husbands, so I’ll give you both. The price were very reasonable, albeit the portions were more like lunch size, but for me it was enough.

The dishes had a decent amount of noodles but could have used a bit more protein and vegetables. I thought the curry dishes had a nice sweet curry flavor but I didn’t taste any spice in either dish nor did I get a taste of citrus from the lemongrass. I still enjoyed it and would
go back again and try some other dishes.

My husband on the other hand had a different experience. He said the soup was good but felt the curry dishes were very bland and lacked flavor especially salt and spice. I am not sure he will be going back with me. 😂

Overall I recommend you check it out for yourself. The jury is still out for us, but I would try it again.“
