We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“A must visit every time for me in New York! It’s my 4th visit and I love it every time. Excellent food and service, they were understanding when part of our party was late to the reservation due to travel delays and tried their best to accommodate. They even gave me tea and crackers while waiting for my friends! Gratuity is included in the price (like how they do it in Japan) which is surprisingly refreshing and touching for NYC. The value is unbeatable for omakase and definitely a must try if you like sushi and want to try an authentic and quality omakase experience without breaking the bank.“

“Five of us had a party on Saturday evening. The tavern was quite busy which reflected on service (our waiter wasn't present all the time). But I can understand that.
The space itself doesn't look like a typical Greek tavern, but high ceiling, good furniture and an appropriate lighting are definitely worth mentioning.
The food is good, but some portions are too small. For example, Greek salad is very tasty, but the portion is way too small. The same goes for grilled saganaki. In addition, our lamb chops were served well-done, although we asked for medium. On the other hand, our red snapper was great.
Restrooms are too small for a restaurant with this capacity.
The wine list should be MUCH better.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. And the prices are very reasonable to be honest.
However, if I compare the food and portions with some other Greek taverns in Astoria I have to admit there are better options.“

“I never eat chicken breast because they are too dry, but I can say this is the best fried chicken I’ve eaten from a restaurant. Juicy not greasy I wasn’t tired after I ate the meal absolutely delicious!“

We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. “Needing to round out our NYC experience before going home we got a few slices to enjoy at Central Park. We got two meat lovers, one feta w/spinach, pepperoni with jalapeno and two sodas. They toasted the pizzas in the oven and placed in a box. The slices were a pretty decent size which was a nice surprise. I enjoyed the feta with spinach 100%. The meat lovers was a lot of meat. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy which I like. Next time I will do one slice as they are pretty big. Highly recommend this spot. Customer service was friendly and quick.“

“Solid neighborhood spot. The downstairs is more of a bar (but still serving real food), while upstairs is sit-down and family friendly. The orecchiette was tasty, and the pesto had a nice fresh flavor. The sopressetta and hot honey pizza was a great balance of flavors and a touch of heat. For dessert, we had the banana bread pudding, which was cinnamon-y and cozy.“

The ambiance is great, the service is always attentive and friendly, and the location and music make it such a relaxing place to unwind. The drinks are amazing too, consistently well made.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here almost every week, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Everything we’ve tried has been excellent. The Tom Kha soup is rich and comforting, the veggie emeralf dumplings are fresh and perfectly done, and the mango shrimp spicy salad was absolutely outstanding.
