“Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was absolutely excellent. The decoration and ambiance were beautiful, creating such a warm and stylish atmosphere. I also really appreciated how accommodating they were with customizing vegan options. If you’re looking for vegan options, I definitely recommend calling ahead and asking so they can prepare something for you in advance. It’s not always easy to find places willing to do that, and they made it effortless and delicious. And for all chocolate lovers, dark hot chocolate is an absolute must have! Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, amazing service, and a lovely dining experience!“

Lately, they’ve also introduced a sake tasting and regional showcase series, offering complimentary sake and seasonal fish from specific regions.

There’s something about its atmosphere and approach to food that feels warmer, more effortless, and genuinely enjoyable rather than overly polished. The lobster pasta was outstanding — rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced — while the fried calamari was unexpectedly impressive, perfectly light and crisp without feeling heavy. We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! “We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do.
