“If I could give an extra half a star I would definitely give this place a 4.5! I love the idea of a locally owned fish market in the area, however this review is more for the cooked menu and food options.
This market use to close its kitchen closer to 5/5:30pm a few years ago, but recently it changed to “Kitchen closes 30 minutes before store closes” and that makes getting a meal from there much more accessible! I have no idea if this is a permanent change but I really hope it is.
The fried food is actually really well seasoned and cooked. The fish didn’t taste dry at all and I honestly didn’t even need the tartar sauce. The french fries were pretty good too. Their “Lunch Combo” was still available at 5pm and my meal came to just over $13. I’m no expert on the fish market, but getting 2 big fillets of Whiting already cooked with fries under $15 feels really good.
The staff was very nice and friendly. Despite what other reviews would lead you to believe, it was very pleasant to talk to them and they were very patient with me as I made my decision of what to order.
The reason for the half star off is the atmosphere. My issue is there’s just “stuff” everywhere. The food displays are fine, but underneath them are just boxes of containers and equipment. I don’t know about you, but I feel a little uneasy seeing the containers I’m going to be eating out of being stored on the floor. Granted they’re still sealed in the box, but the view is a bit unpleasant to me. They also use wooden pallets on the floors behind the counters. I can understand if they need a new platform for the staff to reach over counters, but I would assume untreated wood inside a moist fish market would attract mold somewhere. Now again I’m no expert and maybe this isn’t a real issue, but those are my thoughts as I wait for my food to be done.“

“I was here for brunch. Great food, excellent customer service, and a wonderful atmosphere! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the café had such a welcoming vibe. Everything made for a great experience. Definitely a spot I would recommend and visit again!“

“Love this place. Great selection of groceries. I like that they sell daily newspapers such as the Post and NY Times. Also, the deli and grill are great. The chicken parm sandwich is just as good as one at a top Italian deli. Location a little tough with traffic and parking.

“Tio Nacho is a great family oriented restaurant and the food is a 10/10!! I had the blueberry lemonade, shrimp quesadillas, elote and the chips with pico. Everything was delicious and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I recommend you try them out!“

“Update: used to be good food and service, However, my last visit here was absolutely horrible. Waited an hour and 45 minutes for cold food. 2 out of my party of 4 were served cold food 30 minutes before cold food was horribly presented to the remaining 2 guest. No explanation was offered as to why the delay occurred or why the workers seemed disinterested. I'll probably rethink before returning...“

“I gave 5 stars for food and service. This is a take out with a counter if you want to eat it there which you’ll want to do because it’s so damn good! I’m a Southerner and this is the best fried fish I’ve had north of my Georgia roots. The sides were spot on best collard greens I’ve ever had. I had the catfish. The fry is crispy and tasty …so delicious. I can’t wait to come back.“

“Came in with my best friend to get a breakfast wrap around noon on a Thursday. I usually go to their other location in White Plains but it’s currently being remodeled. Adrianna greeted us kindly and took our order. Our wraps were done in 6 minutes. Highly recommend Highridge Bagels ( I have been going to their location in WP since 2014)“

“Amazing food and service! The chicken and shrimp carbonara was so delicious, as were the breadsticks! 😁🤤😋 I also thought the chicken gnochi soup was good too! 😋 Our waiter Benedict was amazing and took care of us! He provided the recommendation to me for the chicken and shrimp carbonara, which I loved so much! 😋 Loved the vibe at this restaurant as well! Highly recommend this place to others! 😁“

“This BK is the best in the area. Many customer original workers. Today we had the pleasure of being served by Sylvia.
Edit: 10/01/2026 this place went through a nice overhaul through the summertime and they just reopened up. It is bright and fresh and the workers there are attentive.“

“Food is good, and service is fast and polite.
But it’s hard to relax and eat when the door between the dining room and the kitchen is slammed over and over and over and over and over.
It’s used primarily by a drive-thru runner, which is fine. And no one says they should be making sure the door closes softly behind them. But maybe management should put in something that allows the door to shut quietly on its own?
It’s not that it’s just a loud close. It sounds like someone is angry, and it happens about once every two minutes.“

“I love a good wine with my meal. That being said outside of a high end restraunt I have been no place in the area where the house sommelier picks the selection of wine like Saints and Scholars. You would have to buy a bottle if even then to get the quality of their house serve alone. I could write a book on the menu, not a bad choice to be found, but I will stop here. If you adore a good glass with a beautiful dinner/ brunch with exceptional service. Look no further.“
