“After visiting Estiatorio Milos at Hudson Yards last week, the comparison made me realize that I’m actually far more drawn to the dining style of Anassa Taverna. The lobster pasta was outstanding — rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced — while the fried calamari was unexpectedly impressive, perfectly light and crisp without feeling heavy. “We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. “Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. “Had the breakfast burrito 🌯 been wanting to get to this place for a while.

Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The chorizo was the one I went with definitely wasn’t disappointed.

I don’t think it’s worth a far drive but if you’re in the area or it’s not completely out your way it’s definitely worth stopping in for a visit. The place does have seating but not a lot of room. There is a park near by and lots of outdoor seating near the area. That’s what I chose to do.

The breakfast burrito price was amazing especially for nyc the food was good quality and really delicious. The sauce everyone was talking about wasn’t over powering. Matter of fact I wish I had more next time I’ll ask for some on the side felt like I needed an extra pump 😂.

I truly enjoyed this place and I’m sure you guys will also the coffee was mid but it’s ok food makes up for it.

“As a longtime vegan and someone who absolutely loves Thai food, I can honestly say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to—not just in East Harlem, but anywhere in New York City.

Every dish I’ve had here has been outstanding. The vegetables are always incredibly fresh, the flavors are vibrant and authentic, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into every plate that leaves the kitchen. Finding a restaurant that consistently delivers this level of quality is rare, and Chu Ros Thai does it every single time.

The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which makes the entire experience even better. You never feel rushed, and they always make you feel like they’re happy you’re there.

And if you’re vegan, do yourself a favor and order the Thai iced tea made with coconut milk. It’s one of my favorite drinks in the entire city and the perfect complement to an already amazing meal.

I’ve eaten Thai food all over New York, and Chu Ros Thai has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list. I come here whenever I can, and whenever someone asks me where they should eat in East Harlem, this is the first place I recommend.

“WonderPho is wonderful!! We found this restaurant on our recent visit to NYC and it has to be one of the best Pho restaurants we've been to in the country. The portion sizes are excellent, the service is outstanding, and the flavors are rich and delicious! The entire crew was so kind and welcoming, especially Jeff who take such good care of us tableside! We will definitely be back anytime we are in NY!!“

“There are many excellent Greek restaurants in Astoria and Ambrosia Garden can hold its own with all of them. The decor is splendid. It feels like you are being teleported to an intimate Greek island. Pavlos, our server, was top notch. Every dish we had was on point. The meal started with fresh house baked bread and olive oil. Excellent. We then ordered the Hellenic salad, tzatziki, a couple of glasses of Cava and some wine. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, my wife and mother in law ordered two branzinos and my father in law ordered the cod special. I loved it all. My father in law thought that the cod was too salty and Pavlos was extremely apologetic. He proceeded to give us a couple of desserts on the house. Amazing. Each are done in house and they are special. We had a sticky cake layer topped with a cream and pistachio. It was divine and then we had their famous orange cake. So good. I finished off the meal with a perfect double espresso. Thank you Pavlos and thank you Ambrosia Garden for a wonderful experience.“

“A true “holy grail” of bagel shops. Their menu is the perfect balance of the classic NYC bagels we know and love, but with some newer flavor combos added to the menu that make eating here both nostalgic and exciting. The Presto Pesto is one of my favorite sandwiches in the city. Make sure you try their chocolate muffins as well. While it can get busy, the staff are friendly and attentive.“

The egg was super fluffy and I really enjoyed the kimchi to add another flavor profile. The bagel itself was also delicious - light crunch on the outside but soft and chewy inside. Perfect texture and honestly it was such great value for a huge bagel. The owner gave out free rice balls because the wait was getting long and those were delicious too.“

“I’m honestly obsessed with these cookies. They are incredibly delicious and so appetizing. What I love the most is that I’m usually not into sweets at all, but these are just perfect.

They’re not overly sweet — just the right balance. The almond flavor is so rich and comforting, and the cherry adds this slight sour touch that makes everything come together beautifully. It’s such an amazing combination.

Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on.
