Pelham Rails is a modern and upscale restaurant with a bar on one side and tables that are nicely spaced out. The menu is offered on convenient digital tablets, and there are great options for cocktails, including a mezcal eclipse, a coconut lemonade, and a flight of margaritas. Appetizers include fried calamari with a green sauce, a pear salad with fresh goat cheese, and a rich and hearty spinach artichoke dip. Mains include penne vodka, duck, pork chops, salmon, bronzing, short rib, and a pasta with shrimp. A pasta special night offers one at the restaurant and one to take home for $16.99, with pasta bolognese and penne vodka. The food is excellent from the appetizers to the dessert, and the ambiance is very cozy with live music. Service is fabulous, and Rails is highly recommended for all group gatherings, including brunch after a family funeral. There is a step up from the curb, a parking lot, and street parking.
