“The staff were incredibly kind. I didn’t realize the branzino was breaded and I’m gluten-free. When I got my dish I let them know of the misunderstanding and they replaced my dish with no questions asked. The manager came over multiple times to check on us throughout the meal and then they brought us a free dessert that specifically fit my dietary restrictions. They went out of their way to make me feel like a normal person without all my dietary issues. It meant so much to me and the food was great!“

“The service is always excellent here. The food did not disappoint. It was my first time having their pizza and it was delicious, had a magherita personal pie with arugula and wild mushrooms and the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect, the sauce was very good and the mushrooms and arugula were fresh. I completed my dinner with a glass of Malbec which complimented my meal. I will definitely return to try more of Marcello's menu.“

“We had our wedding at Rialto and couldn’t imagine a perfect ceremony and reception.

Dominic and the Rialto team were incredible. Super attentive and went out of their way to make sure our day was as special as can be.

We have no idea how but they managed to make sure the food was always fresh and hot when served, even the branzino, which is not easy to do all at once for ~75 people. Seriously impressive.

They really outdid themselves and we will definitely come back to Rialto for dinner which now holds a special place in our hearts. ❤“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. “By far the best Italian in Astoria. Yes, it's very pricey (full on Manhattan prices) but it's a rare instance where you're paying for real quality.

Mushroom risotto with truffle was excellent, perfectly al dente, and not overpowering with the truffle. The ravioli were super delicate and definitely made fresh in house. Pricing at $32 and $38 is pretty nuts for a plate of pasta, but they were very good.

For appetizers, the calamari was clearly fresh, lightly breaded, and perfectly fried, and the meatballs were moist and tender.

Timing between the courses was great; enough time to digest and enjoy the meal with no rush.

Dessert - tiramisu and panna cotta - was fine but nothing special and overpriced at $14 a pop. I'd skip it next time.

All in all an excellent, albeit very expensive, meal and without a doubt the best Italian in Astoria.“

They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. “Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house. “I have never had a bad experience here and I mean that, I’ve never even had a slightly bad experience in a slightly negative way. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, the setting is perfect, I love how small and intimate it is, and I love the fact that’s family owned. I go to this restaurant once a week and God bless you to the owners and the staff for not only a job excellently done; but I hope there are many more years in the future, of us having the privilege of tasting the deliciousness that comes out of your kitchen.“

“Place is super clean, staff is friendly and it's easy to order but the food for some reason just isn't good. Food is surprisingly not as good as if the restaurant were stand-alone me. “This is a fairly new restaurant in the neighborhood. Very pretty. Looks to be very clean. Service is exemplary. I had four dinners here. One lunch. One takeout. Love the restaurant and for the most part love the food. They do an orange cake for dessert that is spectacular!
The only “but“ that I have is It is not consistent. Generally everything is terrific. Their garden salad tastes of the garden is in the kitchen. That’s how fresh and crispy the vegetables are. Sometimes!
They have Australian lamb chops. I prefer American. I had it with mashed potatoes and it was served in a bowl! Making it difficult to cut the cake comes with vanilla ice cream and I told the people the next table to order it and they got it with raspberry sauce drizzled on the ice cream and they didn’t like that. That’s what I mean by not consistent. I never had raspberry sauce on the ice cream. The last salad that I ordered was not as fresh and crispy. I had three different kinds of bread. One I loved and the other two not so much.
I would definitely say give this restaurant a try.“

“Please make your next night out at Crispin's. I came here on a Friday night on a fluke because it was raining and got sangria to pass the storm. It quickly turned into wine, free bread, and the best pappardelle bolognese I've had (and priced so well at $18 for fresh pasta). The owner was so great, and I genuinely hope his business succeeds as much as he was so nice to me. Definitely worth a visit!“
