Cafe Alaia offers a welcoming environment with impeccable service and delicious, creative food. The wait staff works seamlessly together, creating a friendly and warm atmosphere. The ambiance is perfect for a fancier night out, although prices can be a bit high. The crispy hen with vegetables remains a favorite, along with the outstanding mussels and pasta dishes. Visitors also enjoy the peaceful setting, making it a popular spot for special and tasty meals.
The restaurant features a charming and elegant, modern Italian decor. Freshly baked bread and biscotti are made in-house, and the extensive list of specials is worth ordering from. The espresso is exceptional, and the service from Fabrizio is outstanding. The owner is very welcoming, and the quaint decor is complemented by a lovely atmosphere. The staff are super nice and quick, and the Sea Bream/Orata dish and gnocchi are both delicious. While the cucumber salad special did not impress, the oversized wine glasses are a nice touch, and guests are eager to return.
