“Mario’s Metro Pizza completely changed what I expected from a pizzeria. We came in for a full tasting and every single dish overdelivered. The chicken scarpariello was the standout, juicy chicken smothered in a sauce with real depth, sausage and thin cut potatoes mixed in, plated like something from a sit down Italian restaurant rather than handed over a counter. The vodka rigatoni with fresh burrata was another surprise, creamy, rich, and not something you expect to find at a pizza shop. The Philly cheesesteak pizza and hot honey pepperoni with vodka sauce were both excellent as well, and the hot honey and buffalo wings are made completely from scratch in house.

Beyond the food, the hospitality stood out. The owners, two brothers with over a decade of experience in kitchens across Westchester and New York City, took over a pizzeria that had been a neighborhood staple for decades and elevated it without losing that local feel. You can tell everything is made fresh and with real care.

“I've ordered all kinds of weird pizza abominations from them and they've always done a good job and not judged me. 4 stars instead of 5 because one time my boyfriend ordered garlic on his pizza and they gave him SO much garlic on that pizza that it stank up our entire house and gave him garlic breath for 2 straight days. “I was surprised by this place. For a simple looking restaurant, the food is exceptional. Skirt steak mondaditas are incredible. We had ribs, shrimp, lobster tail and pork chops, all of whi h were delicious. Even the mash potatoes were flavorful. This place is definitely a must try.“
